Bloody hell lads, we’ve just won at Rovers and all you’re interested in is getting digs in at each other.
That is this forum all over. Unfortunately.
It used to be a whole lot friendlier.

The fact the ref was so bad today makes it better.
He gave them everything, sometimes even when they fouled us.
It got so bad they were able to repeatedly foul without any punishment.

Well I for one am so relieved. Felt sick as a dog all day. Hate derby day…
Well done Burnley… we remain the dominant force in east Lancashire.

I wouldn’t say that was an easy watch from the passenger seat on the A1M, but but no derby day ever is for me.
Not sure what to make of the team — our defence is so good that I wonder if it makes the other areas look worse than they are.
Really glad Flemming had his chance. Wish we could bring him into games more!
Thought the team did well, especially when the rules are more leniently applied on the day.

Special mention for the big, fat, female thing, giving it the ‘Yer mum’s yer dad’ chant on camera at the start of the game.
Looking at that state of it, she needs to look closer to home for evidence of interbreeding.

Not really. Up until the goal he had done relatively little. Yes he scored but the comments regarding his performance up until then were justified. So no egg on faces as far as I’m concerned.

Their messageboard (which mentions us having a £150m squad 1 post in every 3) admitted they got away with it.

Ah, the match thread.
Can't be reading the whole thing, but I'd guess the first 60 mins is littered with the usual knicker-wetting fannies, skriking and whining ...if so I just hope the win has ruined their day.

Then you're dropping Brownhill into a deeper role, where he isn't as effective?
Also, not sure if you remember but the last time we played here Wharton was dominating the game, we were up against it a bit then Corky came on, cropped him, then we started gaining momentum and Benson whipped it in the corner. Hardly a complete domination like you often make out every VK game in the champ was.
The majority of Brownhills goals have come from him making a run from deeper.
Your love in for Parker and hate for Kompany is just bizarre, you will be back to crying after every game next year if we're promoted anyway.

Kompany’s most successful spell as manager was when he used Cork, Cullen, and Brownhill together.
As soon as he moved to the setup you’ve suggested above, we became a lily-livered pile of dogger that stunk the place out.
Considering Cork barely played at all after Christmas, you're factually incorrect.

You're both right, cork played until he was suspended in January, then it was jbg and brownhill Infront of Cullen.

We could still improve. At least four yesterday were completely avoidable and they almost scored from one.

What a strange comment, especially after a derby win at our fiercest rivals. VK is gone, he's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy.
Brownhill's best work comes as the furthest forward midfielder in a 4-2-3-1.. I think anyone who has watched him play in midfield now for us can attest to that. When he's tasked more sitting, we lose his athleticism in getting up and down and leading the press from the front.
