You have to feel sorry for them financially when they were outbidding Man U in wages for the likes of Roy Keane thirty odd years ago.

This is a good one. Barnes didn't even get on the pitch  .

Watching Burnley players celebrate with their fans really hurt. Who was the player who grabbed the corner flag and ran around with it covered in Burnley shirt? As for Ashley Barnes he needs sorting out … away from the football pitch

Further context - when “winning” the Premier League they spent more money than any other team had ever spent before - globally.

The wages bill was the highest as well

And they complain about being hard up - you’ve got to be gutted for them

Maybe get a bucket going for them....HA HA!

These few are brilliant:

"The players are a reflection of their manager.
Time wasting, feigning injury, cynical kicks every time a Rovers player got the advantage on them. Horrible, horrible team"

"I despise seeing them and that really included their players celebrating. Really small time and inciting behaviour again, don't recall our teams ever doing that"

"You're right, we didn't celebrate like that when we absolutely hammered them 5-0, we just moved on to the next one as we were always going on to bigger and better things"

They really are deluded, obviously missed all the short pulling and cynical challenges that could have seen them down to 10 or 9 way before we could have been, as for celebrations we all remember the way Dunne etc al celebrated their victories against us as well as all the other things they did in their time of superiority, they have very short memories so it seems.

As for going on to bigger and better things that bubble burst a long time ago and it's all they can cling on to really, oh dear, how sad

I remember the Dunn offside goal being played over and over and over after the match to wind the Burnley fans up whilst the home end stayed in goading and cheering every time it got shown.
They've just forgotten it was that long ago since they beat us or aren't old enough to remember the last time they won.

The last 5 times we beat them before this season we were promoted to the Premier League twice and qualified for Europe at the end of each respective season. Could well be another promotion at the end of this one too. How's that for bigger and better things?

Yeah I can't stand them as a club, but some of the stuff that gets said by both sets of fans is pretty awful and unnecessary. I am pretty confident any decent person would be embarrassed if all their friends and family were watching them say such things (and possibly sacked if their bosses were watching).
It all started with "The Dirty Black Ar*se Of A Crow", back in the 60's1

Honestly I don't know where to start with the majority of these idiots and I speak from experience having known many of them over the years.

They have this ingrained superiority complex where they think they are somehow better than us, not the football team but also the people and town. It's very fkn weird and I assume stems from their uncle jack years.

Everything about us according to them is vile, horrible, a little tin pot club etc etc whilst they are paragons of virtue, a shining beacon of light for the footballing world who can do no wrong. Irony overload.

Deluded, arrogant and obsessed with us now that the tables have turned. They just assumed they would always have a God given right to beat the dingles and cannot understand/ accept/ believe this is now happening to them. 'It's all so unfurrrr what has been allowed to happen to us' 'we want our roverrrrrrs back'.

Well put your hands in your pockets and dig out 200m and it's yours boys. Any takers ? Thought not.

I could go on but really can't be arsed and in any case I think you get the point.

15 years, 11 games, 5 straight wins at Ewood. Fkn marvellous.

I think for some/a few, the real hurt will be having to go into work tomorrow. anywhere that they will encounter BFC fans. Fortunately, I started my working life in S Manchester, I was the only BFC fan that I know of there, and there were no Blackburn fans thankfully during those dark times.

I still had the biggest grin on my face for a while yesterday, with my youngest asking why, we always beat them, what's new!!??

I think some Burnley fans are over self critical re the main Walker song IMHO.
Is Jack Walker dead .....? No venomous lyrics about how he died etc just a stark chant confirming that your biggest ever benefactor has gone
Do we want the Venkys to continue their alleged chaos at bstards ( despite them spunking away millions over the years that the banjo players seem to ignore)... yes.
The Walker in a box and big fat Jack etc are not nice at all as its personal.
Just my opinion.
Pretty much agree with this. It's not something I would sing, but then we take a lot from them also.

As for them, who call us inbred c**nts every other word, as well as their stupid "into bread" song, they are all a bit sensitive when they get some back.

I'm sure it's been widely reported that this isn't the case and that it's actually the club (Rovers) who are the ones limiting the tickets for reasons not explained.

Thankfully we're not yet a Police state.
They will have an advisory role...nothing more, nothing less.

It remains politically expedient, however, for clubs to be seen to be at least taking their "advice" into account.

This is the funny thing they sing about and brag about the premier league but they've never actually won it, they won the premiership.
If us winning the old Division 1 is different because it's a different name then the premiership and premier league are two different leagues according to their logic.

Is there any other fixture in Britain where the police limit away support?
I don’t know one.
Old Firm?

Are these Pec Zwolle lot the inferior rivals to Burnley's Dutch fans from Helmund ? Genuine question, don't understand the connection.
Is it about horses or something ?

This is the funny thing they sing about and brag about the premier league but they've never actually won it, they won the premiership.
If us winning the old Division 1 is different because it's a different name then the premiership and premier league are two different leagues according to their logic.
They also go on about being Champions of England - that’s reserved for the team that wins the Championship (the clue’s in the name). They bought the Premiership - that’s it.

The state of the Zwolle group made it clear where there is a link up between the 2 sets of fans. Probably met in the Sports direct sales 1 year.

Seen some weird comments from some of theirs regarding how they would have won had there injured players been available (ignoring the fact none of them would get in our side) remember though they weren't there for us just the love of their side. Obviously the boycott must kick in every other home game.

The standard of the locals as we headed from and to the station was an eye opener.
