Luton Town
Luton can't buy a win at the moment. They should be mixing it up with us at the top end of the table but find themselves nearer a relegation battle.
Rob Edwards, who was flavor of the month last season, is now being called to walk by the fans.
Funny game is football but Luton are certainly one team that I expected to do better this season.

Re: Luton Town
Their alehouse brawler tactics are common in the Championship as we found at Deadwood. Loss of key players in defence and Barkley have impacted too.Soon be back down .

Re: Luton Town
It's not as though they splashed the cash and then lost their best players.
It's more or less the same team & management.

but minus Barkley, who's a big loss!Nonayforever wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:11 amIt's not as though they splashed the cash and then lost their best players.

Could / has a good chunk have gone towards their new ground, or was that already planned / budgeted for?Nonayforever wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:11 amIt's not as though they splashed the cash and then lost their best players.

They always struck me as a team that was greater than the sum of its parts. An impressive rise through the divisions, perhaps it’s all caught up with them, this season.

Personally rate Carlton Morris, think he would be good for us.

Barnsley fans rated him too, but for a big lad, he's made of glass apparently.GrahamBranchsPerm wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 11:31 amPersonally rate Carlton Morris, think he would be good for us.

Re: Luton Town
They did what we did in 2014 - paid some out to see if we could stay up, but secured the clubs future and put a large amount towards a badly needed new ground.
I'm surprised they have fallen off as far as they have on the playing side, but using the surprise windfall to secure the future of the club is never a bad option.
