Will always have huge respect for Dyche, unfortunately he doesn’t seem to adapt his football enough which I think will kill him in the prem going forwards.

I think Rangers should take a look at him when they pot Clement

Talksport are about to reveal some of the things that have, or are still going on at Everton.

True or not, it should be worth a listen!

Agree on both points.

BFC legend but he seems about as rigid as Kompany in his philosophy which I’m not sure matches the expectations of bigger teams - their fans or board.

I really thought he’d evolve at Everton with better players and I’m sad it’s not worked out for him.

The attraction of Everton v Peterborough 19:45 tonight is supposed to be Ashley Young (39) playing against his son, Tyler Young (18).

Shame if tonight is spoilt by Everton letting Sean Dyche go.

Absolutely mental decision Sean worked wonders at Everton and any manager has a huge task to invigorate an ageing squad who don't score
Everton are dumb enough to reappoint Moyes which will guarantee Championship football next season

I said it above, but he’s won 3 of 19 games this season and Everton are only a point above the drop zone.

I’ll always be grateful for what he did here and he’s been dealt another bad hand at Everton, but if it wasn’t Sean Dyche, nobody on here would bat an eyelid at this sacking.

Not many PL managers survive Everton’s record so far this season. He’s the 6th manager of a PL club in the bottom half to go this season.

A pretty blunt statement:

Everton Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as Senior Men’s First Team Manager with immediate effect.

Ian Woan, Steve Stone, Mark Howard and Billy Mercer have also left the Club.

The process to appoint a new manager is under way and an update will be provided in due course.

Under-18s Head Coach Leighton Baines and Club Captain Seamus Coleman will take charge of first-team affairs on an interim basis.

My sympathy to Sean and to the staff and our former players. The staff in particular, guys who won’t be anywhere near as wealthy, and some of whom served us well when here.

I can see why they potted him, but if the new owners want fancy football they could end up down.

Could be a way to persuade Trafford to stay. Mercer has a great track record of developing England goalkeepers.

Dyche the failure… sacked at every job he’s had… yet some deluded people think he’s better than Rafa Benitez.
Just imagine a manager joining your club when the stock was in a low position, improving infrastructure, improving in the playing staff, improving league position along with working on a tight budget that allowed us to post profits and saying he failed.

Imagine considering him a failure :D

On a serious note shaggy leave the weed alone and have a scooby snack.

He was amazing for us, gave us success and memories to last a lifetime. But take all emotion and bias out of it, Everton have been crap for a while. Not just down to Dyche but when a team's crap, the manager tends to go.

(Would quite like Everton to go down, just for a laugh really. Would be something different wouldn't it.)

Two delightful competing scenarios - Rooney returns to his boyhood club to relegate them, or Sir Gareth relegates them in the same year he collects his knighthood.

It's too good to be true, but we can dream :D
