I could be misremembering but to me Dyche decline with us coincided when Loughlan left for his operation and he hasn’t been at Everton with him, unlike the rest of the back room staff
Could it be that Loughlan is the real man behind the success?
It seemed like Loughlan was a deep thinker of the game, a lot of data analysis and a well respected modern coach.
We replaced him with Stone who seems to be perceived as the total opposite, a completely bully.
It's a shame really as Dychr has excellent managerial skills but I have sensed a slight loss of the modesty he had when he first took our job. It was only yesterday I watched him do a live stage show with Ben Foster and I must say was pretty disappointed how he came across with the incessant swearing and slight air of arrogance, something I haven't really associated him with previously.

Managerial merry-go-round. The place where being sacked is meaningless, you still get offered another job.
I’d be surprised if he gets a PL job. He doesn’t have the results to warrant being a Big Sam type of appointment for a struggling side.

That’s 3/3 jobs he’s been sacked from.
Not sure where he goes from here.
Other managers have been sacked from more jobs, that includes Moyes btw
Sackings are nothing special

Everton. So many managerial changes and no upturn. The new owners must aspire to being a top six club. Sadly for them reality will blunt the aspiration. I wonder who they will appoint now?

and if we measure it by tenure, an average of 4.5 years per job. An excellent record. He will get a job either in the Prem or top end Championship, not problem.

You missed out the horrible results and worse performances.
Faintly amusing to see Everton catch almost as much grief on here for potting one of our ex-managers as Bolton did in 2010 for poaching our then-current one.
As good as he was for us and whatever good he may have done at Everton when he first arrived it's been heading south at a rate of knots for a while now and from the outside looking in if you were to pick the one man whose had the most impact on them stopping up the last couple of seasons it'd probably be Pickford, not Dyche.
They just got beat by a very in form Forest and Bournemouth, before that they drew with Arsenal, Chelsea and City. They've had a very hard run of fixtures over the Christmas period.

Had to be done, they were heading only one way under Dyche. He’s very good at keeping you up in his first couple of years but he can’t build a side that improves, instead his teams age and decline year on year, I think many felt this was the year his side ran out of legs and went down.
You must have missed that period of his tenure where Dyche took Burnley Football Club into Europe, and then the playing squad wasn't invested in due to the club being sold
Beyond me how some Clarets can continuously aim negativity towards this man that gave so much to our club

I’m sure Dyche will be back in work in a matter of weeks depending on his agreement.

for me the Sean Dyche post Covid was very different from the man, and the positivity he brought, who BFC employed.

The ipaper is running a story that the Friedkin Group where open to keeping him but Dyche gave across the impression that that he could take the club no further. Perhaps it was exhaustion from the prior seasons, perhaps knowledge that he was likely to be replaced anyway, who knows.
He certainly delivered an odd press conference the other day, one which I do not think would have played well with an American audience. It was aiming for candid, but came across as a bit flippant.

McNeil getting injured alongside Calvert-Lewin looking about as interested as Rashford certainly hasn't helped Dyche this season.
Great Manager for us, giving the Club real status after the wilderness years.
Don't really care about Everton to be honest, they are just another Premier League Club that can't compete and the change in ownership plus a new ground may give them a chance to emulate Spurs

I don’t think he was recognised or appreciated for what he achieved at Everton.
It seems to me that the fans have a sense of entitlement, and the owners are unrealistic.
Good luck to SD in whatever the future holds for him.
A decent man, and a fine manager.

Dyche is a contradiction in that he seems to revel in how he is perceived as “old school” while always saying just enough to make it clear he considers it grossly unfair.

I think he eventually just accepted his fate. He definitely seems to have lost a bit of the innocent/naive energy about him from his early spell with us.

We saw the absolute best of him here, and some of the worst.
A wonderful manager when his plan is working, but dreadful when it’s not.
I will say I’ve never really liked his sense of humour or his attempts at being “one of the lads”. I don’t think he comes across as well as he thinks he does.
