Amdouni
Won the Portuguese league Cup today, beat Sporting on pens after a 1-1 draw - Zeki scored his pen.

How much would you love to have amdouni now. Clearly the best player in our squad last year
Re: Amdouni

Re: Amdouni
We'd be a hell of a better side with Zeki still with us.
How much are Benfica paying for him at the end of the season?

Good player, no doubt about it, but probably not suited to the Premier League.

Have I awoken into a parallel universe?
I’ll take the money thanks, whatever it happens to be.

Re: Amdouni
So good for us last season that the majority were relieved when he was finally left out. He was nowhere near being our best player last season.

Amdouni was slated on here last season, this season the club and Parker have been slated for letting him go out on loan.

Top player, not a good fit for Burnley but better than anyone we currently have at the club in my opinion

Re: Amdouni
Most weeks he was awful
No footballing brain whatsoever
When he didn’t have the ball he would come way too deep looking for it leaving our lone striker isolated
When he did have the ball for some unknown reason he thought he was Messi and tried to take everyone on - and invariably just ran into people.
His touch was crap - something that was noticeable in the Euros too. His first touch went further than 99% of Josh Cullens passes !!
If we get our money back for him we have done well. Not sure he’s pulling up that many trees in Portugal. A number of sub appearances - surprised they are prepared to pay 20m for him

Amdouni would have been our best player last season if the goals had been 30 feet wide and 10 feet high

Re: Amdouni
I think Amdouni has a high ceiling but he was nowhere near as good for us as Sander Berge.

Re: Amdouni
Likely because last year he was in the PL and this year he's not...! So, I think you can hold the view that he wasn't great last season but he might be a lot better this season.

Re: Amdouni
Nobody looked good last season.
Amdouni has the potential to be a great player, possibly at the very highest levels.

Re: Amdouni
He’s not consistent enough and doesn’t have any composure in front of goal. He’s 24 now and probably playing at the level he’s suited to. He wouldn’t start for any PL team.
