I thought the red card was right. There's a fine line between "taking one for the team" and kicking out at an opponent who's past you and away. The location of the ball should have a lot to do with it. If red cards came out for shirt tugs in that same setting we might see less of it. It's cheating.

When you aim for the player rather than the ball with your foot, you challenge the ref. The ref accepted the challenge.
If you only want a yellow, grab the man or his shirt. Less aggressive.

Either Odebert’s form has dropped off a cliff or he’s a real bad injury ,not been in the squad at all for ages.
