Guess he's picking from who he's seen....fair enough.
You would have thought that if he picked Angus and Adamson he would have seen Jimmy Mac.

Watched it three times and for me what comes across is the great togetherness of the players and a great team talk from SP. After the shambles around the Sunderland game SP seems to have developed what looks like a happy squad. UTC

Here's mine. 433 formation.

Stevenson

John Angus
Colin Waldron
Brian Miller (C)
Keith Newton

Brian O'Neil
Martin Dobson
Frank Casper

Willie Morgan
Andy Lochead
Ralph Coates

Subs:
Jim Thomson (G)
Jimmy Adamson
John Talbut
Peter Noble
Willie Irvine
Leighton James
Dave Thomas
Ashley Westwood

Perfectly correct none of those players would get near my all time 11 or subs bench. The closest were Maatsen and Tella.
I'm finding it hard to disagree with anyone in this list!

Do we know what Kompany said in the dressing room
after we won the league at Ewood? And how he said it? Genuine question. I don't imagine he slagged the players off. Imagine it was pretty much word for word what Parker said.

Or are we talking about Kompany's team talks in the Prem, when the pressure was on and the players were disillusioned?

Doesn't seem a like for like comparison.

Fair point.

I can’t imagine Parker ever losing the plot like
Kompany did, however none of us know how pressure affects someone until they’re under it and filmed for our displeasure

Some serious revisionism goes on with Kompany. Folk on here lapped up his introductory speech to the squad and some of the clips of him coaching. Likewise the comments from the squad about what a good and thorough coach he was. He was a breath of fresh air for many for as long as things were going well.

Now things are going well with Parker and he’s a breath of fresh air and Kompany the devil in disguise.
I think the truth is for a lot that had some question marks over the season in general, the clips of the way he treated Gudmundsson in particular were probably the icing on the cake. And you know what, its hard to unsee something like that for as good as he was at one time. You know sometimes when you've seen the mask slip.

Think it was more of The Straw that Broke the Camel’s Back than the icing on the cake.
