Like others. Think foster for Hannibal. Or Sarmiento.

Fosters defensive contribution is pitiful tbh.
Humphreys clearly getting frustrated with him too

It's painful to watch and the "experts" are struggling to give us praise for our attacking side

If we go all out attack against this lot, they’ll pick us off on the counter. Very tactical cagey game.

The team are working very hard, the off the ball shape has been superb, I’d like a bit more aggression in the press though. On the ball a few sloppy passes when we’ve finally broken the lines, Brownhill was culpable a couple of times with scruffy passing. Foster hasn’t really been in it and I do wonder if Hannibal’s energy and ability to drift inside could be beneficial. Having said that we’ve probably had the two best chances of a low chance game with Flemming.

A disappointing and tedious performance at home.
Who saw that coming??

Hopefully we wake up in the 2nd half.

Without the immense Steeeve, I dread to think where we'd be right now.

I’m probably at the far side of the anti SP squad but I would take a dull nil nil in games like this.

Foster needs to get more involved. Humphreys has got his work cut out with Bogle & James, and he needs a better outlet when he gets the ball. On the other side Roberts and Anthony combining better

Listening on the wireless tonight at work, that Boyle must be some player seemed like he had the ball practically all half!

Every time we get a great result this past month, it’s followed by a poor, dull display.

I’m a lot happier playing like this at home to Leeds. It is home to the lower teams I have a problem with.

I’d put Koleosho on to pin back their RB who is having a good game, but I suspect he will go Hannibal on 60.

I think Rodon has shown what we miss from our two centre backs at times, he's stepping out nicely and creating overloads down our left. In contrast our defensive build up play is sideways and backwards or a chippy diagonal from Esteve that is too easy to defend against. Need to move the ball quicker or be a little bit more direct like we did against Plymouth.

Lets not forget Leeds are the stand-out team in the Division who we are playing, that's not to say we don't need more from certain players

Very comfortable defensively. Foster, Brownhill and especially Laurent need to show much much more

We do have a lack of quality in that final third. No doubt about it. We are good at the back and midfield are doing a job, but as soon as it hits that final third we run out of ideas.

This performance is fine if we’re rolling off 3 points after 3 points at home to the crap teams. But we’re not.

I think I'd do this too, with hannibal perhaps coming in for laurent. We're at home, Leeds are a very good side but I'd love to see us try and win it rather than not lose

Let’s not be drastic. Nobody is asking for all guns blazing CJ and Esteve off for Barnes and J Rod. But there is a middle ground from that and settling for a point.

Foster has made bad runs off so many passes to him. This needs sorting out in the video room.
The man on the ball should know where Foster is going through verbals, hand signals or training.

That’s the third time Brownhill has given the ball away with his first touch.

I just wish we had a genuine threat in behind. Someone making out-to-in runs or spinning the centre half.

All we do is cycle it around the defenders and midfielders before allowing one of the forward players the opportunity to lose the ball.

Their 6, with the flyaway hair, wouldn't last long down Townley on a Saturday. Or Sunday. Likes a dive, considering he's a CD.

Maybe we could just lock Foster in there and throw away the key.

We sometimes actually look scared to face forwards with the ball. The first body movement is backward

Game summary so far.

First half kick off.
Half time whistle.
Second half kick off.

And a s**t load misplaced passes shared by both team

Honestly it’s an absolute minority on here who appreciate that we are looking overall solid and organised against probably the best team on paper in the league.

My hope for today was to keep it tight and nick a one goal win.

I’m a Burnley fan so ultimately want us to win and succeed, but there’s a small petty part of me that would almost be glad for some of our so called fans on here to witness us slip into mid table obscurity and have season after season stuck in the lower half champ/upper half league one.

Think it’s been said numerous times, but the entitlement amongst our fanbase, particularly on Matchday threads on here, is painful.

This is a really wierd take.

We are the most expensive squad in the league and one of the highest wage bills.

Seriously it’s not ridiculous for people to be a little bit miffed about the performance.

I don’t think it’s been a poor game by any stretch. But I expected it be a bit of a higher tempo with more quality on show. I’m struggling to engage with the match because there’s not a lot on show

Defensively we've been excellent. And we're certainly not always this way, but as an attacking unit tonight we've been poor. I'm not sure that's controversial or entitled. At home we should be causing anyone problems. It would be difficult for anyone to argue we've caused Leeds any

Right.

We need to ******* win here.

What's SP gonna do about it? Both managers happy to play mediocre football unless they concede.

We need to win. Leeds don't. ******* change it up

I think he'd pay for that if we were in the prem and I think that is where it limits his potential. I'd like to be wrong and could be. I hope we get the chance to find out.

Yet weirdly we've had arguably the best two or three chances.
Flemming's two headers wide and his speculative row Z effort
