Trafford - 7 - one decent save

Roberts - 7 - good game
CJER - 8 - another top performance
Esteve - 9* - head and shoulders over anyone else on the pitch
Humphreys - 7 - in the main nullified their main threat - with little help from Lyle

Cullen - 7 - decent distribution and a couple of massive interceptions
Laurent - 5 - a strange one. Needed his physicality but he was poor in possession
Brownhill - 5 - saw little of the ball but again poor in possession

Anthony - 6 - he looked the most likely to produce something - anything!
Flemming - 4 - staggered he played a whole game. Never in the game, absolutely knackered with 20 to go
Foster -4 - awful. We got away with his no show first half as Bogle was given the freedom of the Turf, and he offered nothing going forward. Looked lost

Sarmiento - 4 - a strange substitution. Far less effective wide than at 10. Zero impact

An absolute bore draw with neither side willing to lose. Neither side contributed to the excitement to be fair to us, in the wider scheme will prove a decent point I’m sure. We desperately need a 9

Trafford - 7 - Good save at the end

Roberts - 7 - solid
CJER - 8 - Superb again
Esteve - 9* - What a player.
Humphreys - 7 - did a good job against Bogle

Cullen - 7 - Best of the midfield
Laurent - 5 - Didn't assert any authority. Think we need more attacking threat at home
Brownhill - 5 - Anonymous. Seemed half a yard off of where he needed to be. Tough in a game like this though

Anthony - 7 - Thought he had a good game, bit puzzled at 4's and 5's given for him.
Flemming - 5 - Why is he so **** at home lol
Foster -4 - Think thi was the straw that broke the camels back for me.
Sarmiento - 4 - Another really poor cameo, what has happened to him?

Take a point, but this manager and squad now needs to think. Do we take the handbrake off and try and win this league, or do we stay as we are and try and sneak second?

Can't lie I was driving back home last night wondering why I bothered.

Two well drilled sides defensively that did their job making for a bored crowd but it's out of the way now.

In order to get automatic promotion though the shackles need to come off and a bit of openess is needed to turn the one pointers into three. Let's not kid ourselves, a few of the 0-0 draws have been against poor teams.

Trafford 7 - not much to do, but distribution etc fine in rubbish conditions. Decent save.
Roberts 8 - thought he handled Solomon very well and generally looked to provide an outlet
Egan-Riley 8 - did well in tricky conditions, quickly corrected some loose moments, great sprints forward
Estève 9 - the man is absolute class. Tidied everything up.
Humphreys 7 - did ok in the main, but he has shaky spells
Cullen 7 - best of the midfield
Laurent 4 - thought he was poor and not on the same level as the Leeds CMs
Anthony 7 - had a decent game, can frustrate, but he works hard and his first touch is sublime
Brownhill 5 - distinctly average
Foster 5 - tough night in the main but i think he was given the remit to protect rather than attack
Flemming 5 - tried but still can't help thinking square peg in round hole

Sarmiento 5 - did nowt

If you're into defensive structure and organisation, you'll have enjoyed that. If you're into an actual game of football where teams look to win a game, you'd have been forgiven for leaving at 60 mins, because the draw was so much of a banker by this point, you could probably have put the mortgage, the savings and the wife on it. Our defensive record is undoubtedly eye-catching but my word we need to loosen the handbrake at home now.

Trafford - 7 Apart from the save in the 89th minute he had nothing to do again.
Roberts - 6 As the score suggests he was average.
CJER - 8 Our best passer of the ball and apart from the smallest of mistakes he was pretty flawless again.
Esteve - 8 Standard performance from Steveeeee. Tried the long balls but he’s not as good as CJ for them!
Humphreys - 7 Did the job of 2 men for most of the game. A massive upgrade on Pires.
Anthony - 5 Don’t think he got past his fullback all night. Struggles against the better sides.
Cullen - 7 As always the metronome.
Brownhill - 5 Mr Invisible was back in town tonight.
Laurent - 6 He was obviously told to be more defensive minded which is a shame because his forward runs cause problems.
Foster - 4 Square peg in a round hole but my goodness he was rank. Should have been hooked before HT
Flemming - 5 Was he the same player who looked a world beater on Wednesday? Really poor.

Sarmiento - 4 Touched the ball on a couple of occasions and immediately gave it away. Plays better in the 10

Dull, dull, dull
