Was generally OK, but a bit too whistle happy whenever one of their players fell over.

Too easily conned by their defenders.

Just annoying that the young refs now are taught from a textbook to blow just to be safe whenever a player falls over. Leeds knew this and were expert at managing it.
He did all right in general but that element wound me up because it is killing the game.

Quite. But don't put your hands on the back of a defender and not expect him to go down like a a sack of ****.
It's wrong but we've done it plenty...

The ref tonight was excellent imo and other than a couple of minor niggles was spot on

They dis fall over quite easily, but a Ref can only adjudicate on what he sees. A fair game with very few contentious decisions to make.

We are just so ridiculously naive that we put our hands on the opposition all the time so of course they’re going to give a foul. At least he was consistent with that.
I can only think of one decision that was an absolute howler but I’m putting that down to the assistant referee in front of the Bob Lord who was pretty poor

Stop drop and roll from their centre back and left back needs rating downwards. Especially when contrast with the shirt pulls and shoves on Flemming which were essentially the same offence and not treated the same because he didn't dive around. Pulling on the shirt to the extent that the material is clearly off the body. It's clear to see. No attempt to disguise what is happening. That's poor decision making and inconsistent. Got the decision with the Leeds dive in the box correct though. Drop ball should not have happened, not a head injury. He then allowed them to stand within ten yards. Two poor free kick decisions in attacking positions to Leeds first half. Bookings for their whinging was quite positive and put a stop to it. The Browny foul looked bad and would like to see that again.

Proper homer and had we been on the opposite end of his decisions tonight this thread would be on fire

I thought he guessed quite a few decisions especially those made near the Bob Lord Stand

Bet he wouldn't have blown as quickly if it had been a push from Rodon on Flemming in the Penalty Area!!

As said above, he was easily conned by their two central defenders although Jayden Anthony did help.
Other than that I thought he was quite good.

Better than recent officials at Turf Moor which is not a high bar. Seemed to be quick to penalise when Leeds rolled over for the slightest touch, but didn't seem interested when some of the same players were shirt pulling and clambering all over Flemming.

Surely as a Burnley fan you know what/where the Cricket Field end is?

Off tv but if any fans had a gripe it was theirs. Didn’t get everything right but a lot better than some of the clowns we’ve had.

He was good, stronger than the usual refs. Funny how when you book players for mouthing off and being ignorant, they stop doing it.
