Stay Awake, Stay Focused, Stay Entertained

Post by Rowls » Wed Jan 29, 2025 2:32 pm

Share your top tips for staying awake, focused and entertained during our nil-nils.

I've taken to drinking four cans of energy drink before kick off and topping up with two more at half time.

I've got an appointment with my cardiologist tomorrow but I haven't fallen asleep yet.

I have hand buzzers in my gloves( pah I hear you say) so should anything remotely exciting happen, I clap my hands and get an electric shock. Seems to work.

They have a "guess the time of the first goal" competition in the Longside Lounge. The excitement of winning keeps me awake.

I've got April.

I have convinced myself that the object of the game is to get the ball from the opposition penalty area to Trafford in the least number of passes. It's quite exhilarating when we do it in three.

Btw, DSR did you extend your stay in there or have you moved elsewhere?

Every time we're moving the ball forwards, close your eyes and wave your hand across the screen back towards our goal muttering a spell. Open your eyes, and you'll feel like you have magic powers.

Still there. Painful amount of real money involved!

Focus on our defenders and enjoy how well they do their craft, defending is partnof the game after all. Especially Esteve, we might not have the option too much longer.

As an ex defender, I am drooling over the defensive framework and how quickly esteve manages to recover to get the ball away from danger, and how CJ has grabbed his chance in a fantastic way.

I get it can sometimes be a little uneventful, and painful at times, but I’d sooner have this any day over the shite I stood thru in the early 80’s.

Some skriking on here saying the game v Leeds is the worst they’ve ever seen. I say, stfu you utter melts. These last 20 years have been better than anyone could ever have imagined, and all people can focus on is how we are finding it a struggle to get goals… get over yourselves.

I've had a bet on 0-0 for the last two home games, if you back it for the rest of the season you should turn a profit.

Beat me to it. Hundred quid on nil nil via Betfair exchange. Cash your stake out at halftime. And leave your profit in as long as you dare. I’m in avoriaz skiing off my plunder

The batteries in those will last forever then as you won’t use them that much
