Given his age even if he runs down his contract whoever he signs for will have to agree compensation with us or this will be sorted by a tribunal unless 1) rules have changed for under 23's or 2) he moves abroad when I think the fee is different. Just like Danny Ings to Liverpool all those years ago.

Just checked Parker was manager at Fulham Feb 2018-19 season. So they would have over lapped by a few months

The fact Parker didn’t bring Barnes on till the 89th minute when it was 0-0 at the weekend is a good indicater that he didn’t want to sign Barnes and it was all an Alan Pace signing

Some sort of Cheerleader role is all I can see. Bizarre signing, but I think Pace got a bit carried away with that one.
Probably a coaching role lined up in the summer.
