TV fixtures for rest of season

Post by Whitgord » Tue Jan 28, 2025 12:26 pm

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. When can we expect the TV schedule for the rest of our games this season? Not long now until March.

After last nights goal(less)fest they might decide they don't want us on TV again 🤣.

At the beginning of the season, Sky announced that all Championship midweek games would be televised.

I've seen nothing to suggest that our game against Oxford on Tuesday 4 February will be televised?

Might be with it originally being played on a Saturday if probably doesn't come under that category

I'm guessing they're waiting to see what happens on the FA cup now before sorting first weekend in March?

Didnt seem to bother them when arranging the ones for 4th round day. Less than the minimum period in the premier league now and not helpful for those of us approaching the end of leave periods with days left to take but holding back in case we get a Friday or Monday night at Swansea or Cardiff.

Future broadcast selections will now be made on a weekly basis for the rest of the season.

Why do Rovers get selected so much?

The only good thing about those fixtures is that Leeds have to get to Portsmouth for 12pm on a Sunday

But how the hell can they justify that a weeks notice is acceptable for changing the fixture?

It’s not a week before the fixtures.

Think people are getting the wrong end of the stick. There's no way they'll choose TV games at a weeks notice.

Just checked the EFL link posted earlier in the thread and searched March.
It seems our game has stayed Sat 3pm with the TV games already picked.

I think you just looked at the old link, instead of a new search on their site when you get there.

It says Sheffield Derby on Sunday 12pm.
