Rather than me spend an hour on the phone....I know the date used for age categories depends on their age at 1 August 2025. My son does not turn 19 until October, but does that mean I can still buy him an U18, or does he now need an U21 season ticket?
When my daughter's had season tickets, it was always the age they were at the start of the season that counts but from the sound of it, your lad won't qualify for a under 18 ticket as he is older than 18 when the season starts. I could be wrong though.

If it's any consolation the staff were told not to do seat swaps today, only new ST sales.

They did my seat swap as I could only swap my seat and not my son's online last night, meaning my 8-year old and I were separated and the seat next to his, or the one I wanted to move him to could be sold.
Interesting. I got through today after over an hour and explained I couldn’t swap my sons that was not next to mine online yesterday. The seat I wanted near mine has now gone but they did try and find two together but not where I wanted. So they will still arrange to put stranded minors with parents. They can’t contact the person who had bought the single seat though to see if they would swap. There are too many people wanting this service apparently and they are swamped with phone calls and emails. This begs the question of why don’t they adopt a better system ? All this just highlights to me that fans are quite low down the pecking order when it comes to something that helps them but isn’t revenue generating.

I wonder why so many people are wanting to swap seats this season, I don't remember this stampede any other years, could it be the awful weather we've had at a few home games this season?

I think over time people might pass away, move, split up, face financial difficulties and I bet there are loads of single seats all over the ground where people wouldn’t object to moving ( in some cases it might only be a few feet away) and also lots of people that want to sit nearer/ together. To have no system in place is ludicrous. The main priory for the club is just filling seats but it’s not helpful.

There could be an online system where you could just put in seats that you are willing to swap and where you want to be.and a few phone calls from someone at the ticket office could sort this out.

Could people who are having problems with not being seated next to their children not post the seat number they need and see if people would be prepared to swap, if they are on the forum obviously.

All the things you mention will happen every season, but more seem to want to move this season

To be fair if it was me they were trying to contact there's probably eight weeks a year they would find it impossible
