Club website ticket purchase problems
Anybody else tried purchasing tickets over the weekend and struggled to progress past ‘update your details’ page? It’s usually pretty easy for me to get tickets but I’ve tried on both the laptop and the phone and upon clicking save the site just doesn’t respond…?
Re: Club website ticket purchase problems
Just gone through the motions on my phone of attempting to buy a ticket for Wednesday and all was fine up to the payment section, so all appeared to be working ok.

Yeh I’ve done the same but when I get to the checkout basket section it throws me to updating details and then that’s as far as I can go. **** boiling tackle

I’m having the same issues again, if anyone has had the same and knows how to resolve the issue that’s be great help . It’s usually very easy to purchase a ticket but this is a joke at the moment .

Sorry to hear that. Just run through to buy a Swansea away on my phone all the way through to pay and it was fine.Hedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 10:05 pmI’m having the same issues again, if anyone has had the same and knows how to resolve the issue that’s be great help . Only idea I can come up with is to clear your cache/cookies?
Can honestly say I’ve never had a single problem with the ticket site, which I think makes me the only one judging by the complaints on here!

The update your details page never works for me either. When I moved house a few months ago I eventually had to email them to get them to update it at their end, even then they made an error with the new address and I had to phone them to correct it.

My date of birth was missing from my acciount apparently - there was no option to update that myself though
I contacted the ticket office and they were able to do the update which resolved issue

Thanks for the assistance everyone - the date of birth was indeed the problem and can only be updated bizarrely by someone at the club.EarbyClaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 5:59 amI had a similar problem

So if this happens to anyone else then you’ll need to ring the ticket office. If you’re on the turf tomorrow come and find me and I’ll buy you a pint as a thankyou, I’ll be the one in the claret and blue top . UTC

Wouldn’t you think, if the club know that you can’t progress a ticket sale without the DOB being populated, they’d either a) have that validation removed, or b) run a report for any clarets ID’s without DOB’s and drop them an email/give them a call to get it sorted?

Or not have them removed in the first place as mine was.NewClaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 1:32 pmWouldn’t you think, if the club know that you can’t progress a ticket sale without the DOB being populated, they’d either a) have that validation removed, or b) run a report for any clarets ID’s without DOB’s and drop them an email/give them a call to get it sorted?

Im having a different issue, Swansea tickets wont come through from their system to my email, they've sent them 3 times now and their tech team are looking into it. Never had any issues in the past with e-tickets.

Well that would be a good starting point too!! Unbelievable.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 1:35 pmOr not have them removed in the first place as mine was.
I sense the club want to cut down on ticket office staff and shift to self service, but which they might be able to if they cut out things like this that drive unnecessary traffic through the phone lines!!

Re: Club website ticket purchase problems
All last week I was trying to buy my friend and his son who’s 8 tickets for Norwich (h).
As a season ticket holder I thought this would be pretty straightforward online, using my Clarets number. Apparently not. Ended up phoning the ticket office who said it would be easier if I went in to the ticket office, which I did last Saturday morning.
The whole ticketing set up is a joke.

Re: Club website ticket purchase problems
On a separate ticket question if someone could help. I have a friend coming from abroad for the Millwall game, my season ticket is in the CFS and tried getting him a ticket for that stand but none available, is it that it will be sold out? (Unlikely as always empty seats near me) or can you not buy a ticket for CFS?
Re: Club website ticket purchase problems
Then I don't think you'd ever be able to purchase online.
I take it the ticket office sorted you out?

They’re not clarets yet. You’re going to convert them vs Norwich

No. Thinking about it though, more recent visits have been using spare ST’s and so will’ve been under the old system.

You can not buy tickets in there I don't think. Hard to believe there were only 20 season tickets available in there to purchase for next season, loads of spare seats around us.claretburns wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 7:29 pmOn a separate ticket question if someone could help. Re: Club website ticket purchase problems
Isn’t that because people buy them and don’t turn up? Or because people congregate together at the top?Loyalclaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 7:56 pmYou can not buy tickets in there I don't think. Thats one stand that the club should be making sure is packed to the rafters every game. Another health and safety gone mad situation.

Re: Club website ticket purchase problems
It will be a mix of both. When we first went in there we had tickets a couple of rows from the back, moved as soon as we could once we realised our row had 30+ people all squeezing together and stewards doing nothing about it.
We're the block over now nearer the away fans but halfway down the stand, our row has around 15 seats but apart from a bloke and his Mrs at the end and me and my two mates the rest of the seats have been empty for the past 2+ years, plus the two rows in front are only half full as well as the row behind.

Just have a look on twitter where people sell their CF STs.claretburns wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 7:29 pmOn a separate ticket question if someone could help. I had a similar problem when buying an extra ticket for the WBA game last week. I ended up going and collecting a paper ticket...

Re: Club website ticket purchase problems
I’m always quick to pull anything to pieces that doesn’t do EXACTLY what it says on the tin, and let’s be honest, when it comes to Burnley and ticketing, nothing ever works out as it should.
Today, because the ticket office was closed at half two when I got there, I thought I’d try my luck online. Lad in the office said “
good luck with that!”
Four minutes later, my Derby ticket was confirmed as being bought by me and I was a happy chappie. No fuss, no issues, everything went smooth as silk. I am delighted.
