Trafford 7
Roberts 8
Egan-Riley 7
Estève 8*
Humphreys 8
Cullen 8
Laurent 8
Anthony 8
Hannibal 8
Foster 7
Flemming 7

It's laughable that posters can give any player less than a 7 after that performance, but it goes to show the mentality I suppose

6 for Roberts and Foster????
You have to assume they watched from home or not at all for those scores

Trafford 7
Roberts 9 outstanding
Egan Riley 8
Esteve 8 so calm
Humphreys 8
Cullen 8
Lauren 7
Anthony 9 mom superb 1st half
Hannibal 9 also superb
Foster 7
Flemming 7

We looked very good in first half and could have scored more. Having said that Hull looked quite useful going forward and I think they’ll climb the table.

The mistake Hull made was conceding a goal after 3 minutes. The rest was a masterpiece in controlling a game.

Trafford - 7

Roberts - 8
CJER - 8
Esteve - 7
Humphreys - 8

Cullen - 8
Laurent - 7

Hannibal - 7
Foster - 7
Anthony - 9

Flemming - 7

A sumptuous performance. There has been pressure on Parker to sort the attack out. He's doing it. Tonight, we looked like we were going to create a real chance on almost every attack. Threats all over the field. I've not been the biggest fan of Jaidon Anthony - he was magnificent.

A lot of fans worried about the other 3. It's the other 3 that need to be worried by us. We said if he was able to get it clicking up top we'd be in business.

We're in business.

A very professional performance against the poorest side I’ve seen this year , they literally offered no threat and were unable to land a blow , onto Preston .

How you can only give Cullen a 7 is beyond belief.

Trafford - 7 Again virtually trouble free apart from 1 standard save.
Roberts - 7 Good game with more overlapping than usual.
CJER - 9 Imperious
Esteve - 9 He will be playing Champions League football within the next 3 years…hopefully with us!
Humphreys - 8 Improving game by game.
Anthony - 7 His approach play is very good but his final ball lacks sometimes.
Cullen - 9 Majestic.
Hannibal - 9 Best game for us. Full of energy and excellent play. I think he really enjoyed it himself even though he was subbed early.
Laurent - 7 Good game but his performance was overshadowed by the other midfielders.
Foster - 7 I’m still on the fence with Lyle. Obviously still being played out of position and IMO he struggles a little.
Flemming - 7 More a threat but still not an out an out number 9.

Edwards - 7 Needs more fitness but he looks a really exciting prospect. Very similar to Benson but hopefully with a bit more grit.

The 1st half was very enjoyable and it wouldn’t have flattered us to be 4 up at half time. 2nd half was a little underwhelming which is following a bit of a trend for us which is worrying. On to Saturday to play the superior ones! I work in Preston and the way they talk you’d think they’d got Harry Kane and Erling Haaland up front! My goodness they are delusional!

Trafford 7 nowt to do
Roberts 8 links up well
Esteve 9 Rolls Royce
Egan-Riley 8 too easy
Humphreys 8 great goal
Cullen 9 man the show
Laurent 7 not required
Hannibal 8 prefer him deeper
Anthony 8 would be more with better decisions
Foster 8 thought he was excellent
Flemming 7 good first half.

Edwards 7 imagine when he's fit.

We played well but I would love to see Hannibal with Cullen, foster up front with Flemming behind, and an extra winger. Laurant isn't required in games like this and Oxford, he slows us down to much.

I watched the game with Hull City comms, he thought Anthony’s performance was outstanding and their LB had a torrid night.

It’s better listening to the opposition’s perspective rather than what is written on here.

The commentator thought Burnley were the best team he’d seen all season and the football played last night was better than under Kompany in the championship.

I think you have to accept that we have looked better and more fluent against weaker opponents. I thought Hull looked quite good going forward but defended woefully at times.

Trafford 7 - he's hard to watch sometimes with how close he flirts with danger.
Roberts 7 - Solid performance
Egan-Riley 8 - solid
Estève 9 - imperious and deserved that weird Steve noise that persisted at the end
Humphreys 8 - Got done like a kipper first half but overall very solid
Cullen 8 - Probably deserves a 9 but I'm a miserable get and it would mean I'd have to give Hannibal 10
Laurent 8 - played well. I get the arguments for other players around Cullen but those two seem to play well together
Anthony 8 - amazing technical ability. They once said of Johnny Francis that he could trap a ball further than most could kick it but with Anthony it could fall from the moon and he could trap it on the spot.
Hannibal 9 - I thought he was brilliant. By far the best player on the pitch...
Foster 7 - Ok but cuts inside too often to be really dangerous on the wing
Flemming 7 - weird one this because he doesn't lead a line so there is no out ball. I'm not sure how he is expected to play and he certainly has an eye for goal and a poachers ability in the box but often there is a lack of movement up front when the defenders have the ball.

Probably over half a dozen times last night he got in excellent positions, but then failed with the cross or shot.

From tv
Trafford 7 one good save when called upon
Roberts 8 great attacking full back performance, especially in the first half
CJ 8 he and Esteve are something special
Esteve 9 there must be countless top clubs watching him, imperious
Humphreys 8 his best game going forwards for us
Cullen 9 he was everywhere with a faultless display
Laurent 7 did some great work breaking up their attacks and then pushing forward
Hannibal 9 my mom, his first half performance was fantastic, he covered every inch of grass in their half, his pass for our second goal was sublime
Anthony 8 unstoppable in the first half hour, he overcooked it though in the second half with some average final balls
Flemming 8 should have at least 2 possibly three, he can certainly score goals
Foster 8 great hard working performance with plenty of skill, he always puts pressure on defenders

Our first half performance was as good as Kompany’s promotion team at their best, Hull were chasing shadows for 45 minutes. Great shame we just couldn’t score a third or fourth which our dominance deserved in the second half. It’s now good to see there is competition in every position, which must help get the best out of the whole squad. We now need consistency, especially in the attacking play, the next few games are crucial. Well done Scott Parker.

Excellent team performance, the team got him.im some great situations and he failed to deliver.
What's so difficult to understand?
Thought he was poor and at least 7/8 times in the 1st half the crowd groaned when he messed up

Failed to deliver yet created the 2nd goal, and Flemming missed an open goal from about 6 yards for another.

Where abouts were you sat to hear this groaning ? There was none around where I sit and I haven't seen anyone else mention this. If you don't like a player it is fine to do so for whatever reason you like but you should be mature enough to be honest about that player.

Sit in the Fishwick plenty of groaning in there, even when he got announced as MOM people laughing in disbelief.
I like Anthony nothing against him, just my opinion that he wasn't as good as people thought which is what the thread is all about. Should you really be getting so worked up that somebody didn't see the game the same way you did?

Not worked up about anything just puzzled that anyone who really was at the game saw what you claim, guess we will see who is closer to the truth when the total scores of all players.

I will have you whatever amount you want though that Anthony comes bottom of all the starters.

Who do you think was poorer?
His stats online suggest he took his man on once from three attempts.
It's a matter of opinion I've said he got in good positions but time and time again I thought he was wasteful with his final ball
