I don't think any of the permutations whatever the result will have any advantages or disadvantages. It's 1 of them games where the ideal result is both to lose which sadly can't happen.

Played well, that half, Sunderland
Comms seemed a bit disappointed about that. ;)

Sky pundits keep mentioning Leeds record when conceding first this season but the majority of those games would have been away from Elland Road.

Agreed, although I’m inclined to think that Leeds not winning means they need a result at Sheffield next Monday. But it’s all irrelevant unless we do our bit.

Hincliffe is a moron. As Tanaka is dragged to the ground by Cirkin, for what should have been a pen he says, “a better ball in and Sunderland have a real problem”.
The ball was live it doesn’t matter whether Tanaka could have got to it.

Leeds lose tonight and against the Blades and we beat Wednesday it means we’re a point behind them ,and being the best side in the world the pressure on them would be tremendous.

I really don’t understand this, if you were to kick a player in the area if the balls nowhere near it’s a pen. Haul a player to the ground, and its play on………

One of life’s mysteries I guess……..

Yep, the worst “pundit” around. always sounds so tense and states the bleeding obvious all the time - watching it now with the sound off !

Could do with getting James Trafford on the same diet as the Macken’s keeper,he’s built like a brick shithouse.

It helps when Sunderland are weak defensively. They are simply incapable of holding a lead

They looked tired about 25 minutes ago. They've been battered this half without Leeds creating much.

I think Sunderland are the weakest of all 4 teams with the football despite having decent attacking threat.

Always going to happen.

They go for it to try and win games. Look at the subs they made and the change in tactics

Leeds play how we should. They commit far more bodies forwards and really pin teams in. They deserved that result and will comfortably be Champions IMO.

And there you have it. A team that tries to win. Wants to score. Wants to play attractive, attacking football. Fair play to Leeds.

All those 0-0 results and the clean sheet record mean nothing.

This could so easily have been Burnley with this talented squad but we chose Parker and, under his stewardship, they are underperforming massively. It’s a crying shame.

2 good sides but we are as well
Not sure about Sheffield utd I've not seen much of them this season
Leeds are top for a reason and credit to us for taking 4 points and clean sheet of them this season
Rothwell has been different class for them tonight
As much as it pains me of course :(
