He’s been here for 6 years and speaks English pretty fluently. I reckon he’ll know the difference between a racist slur and a non-racist slur.

I'll take your word for it then but I've never engaged in a conversation with him. It did make me wonder when the twitter/X statement (whatever you want to call it) went up but I wasn't sure if he employs somebody to handle the media side of things.

I was watching the match on TV and as soon as the incident happened my wife turned to me and said Hannibal has been racially abused. I also believed he was likely to have been but said to her "how do you know that". She replied tit was because the PNE player's body language, attitude and behaviour together with his talking into Hannibal's ear. She then remarke about the immediate reaction of Hannibal and said I know when someone has received racial abuse. I asked how and she sid simply it was from personal experience, when your racially abused you get to know the signs. My wife is mixed race and has experiencd racial abuse a number of times. I know its not exactly proof but I think she is right, Hannibal was racially abused.
