Could be a crucial player for us in the next twelve games.

Players reaction said a lot. Reminded me of how happy the squad was when Twine scored that free-kick after his injury woes

Did you see the Joy on Ash Barnes 's face at the end when he ran over to Benson. Quality

I know Anthony had two assists tonight
But I would love to see Edwards on one wing and Benson on the other.

With his right foot as well, usually cuts in from the right and curls it in with the left.
Great shot.

So pleased for him.
To have the technical ability at our disposal of Edwards, Benson, Cullen, Anthony, Sarmiento & Hannibal is scary! Got to make it count.

Re: Benson's back
Stunning. Made up for him, and surely Parker can see he's not just someone to bring on, possibly, in the 89th minute.

Re: Benson's back
you only have to look how absolutely buzzing the fans are with his goal, I can't imagine the lift he's just given the dressing room. We've seen before, he can win games on his ownalwaysaclaret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 11:35 pmSaid exactly the same as the final whistle went, goal of the season contender.

Re: Benson's back
Very happy for Benson, fabulous goal but I had us down at the bookies to win 3-0 @ 11/1 why did he have to score that in the last few seconds of the 5min add on time had a fiver on it, but never mind

happy Claret here, can we have one next weekend in the FA cup plz just like that against PNE thanks.
Re: Benson's back
Sensational goal, possibly my favourite from this season and even better to see how happy he was to score it. I get the feeling he is happier now than at any point since he's joined. Could be nonsense but I don't think I've seen him smiling like that since he joined the club.

Yes it was against Hamburg at the Turf in Quarter Final of the Champions League (European Cup then)Vino blanco wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 11:21 pmIt reminded me of Pilky’s goal against Hamburg (was it Hamburg?) in the European Cup all those years ago.
