Did well to book their man for a dive to try to get a peno.

I thought he let a lot of shirt pulling and rugby tackles go in the first half.

A good game but how is 2 defenders dragging Zian down in the area with the ball not around not a penalty?

Nice to get a homer for a change. I can understand why Owl fans were calling him.

That fact that half his shirt was ripped off his back should have been a good indication

Bang average. The pires booking was near-Hannibal levels of ridiculous and the fact that a player has to show you a massive hole ripped in the back of his shirt should really make you question whether you made the right call on shirt pulling.
That said, he seemed to get most yellows right, especially the dive.

Decent.
We've had a dozen refs this season who give a penalty for that dive...the cock we had against Sunderland would have given 2 pens and sent all our back four off.

Ok for a referee! No issues. We don't get pens.

Wasn't there so won't score. But I thought he was poor overall. Mostly in our favour
But some of the blatant fouls not given on Flemming again was a disgrace

He had a good game - missed a couple of relatively minor fouls and Flemming was fortunate not to be booked for a challenge not dissimilar to Windass booking, but got the big decisions right. Spotted the dive. Never a penalty on Flemming

Saw the highlights, and he didn’t do anything when the Wednesday “diver” ( Gassama )? did the same early doors, at the Jimmy Mac/ Bob Lord side. Blatant attempt to con the ref. Cheating of the highest order.
But overall, the best we’ve had for quite a while, though obviously not a very high bar.

He did something that most referees don’t too. I think it was one minute added at the end of the first half and with about four seconds of it left we won a corner. He didn’t add time for the corner to be taken which saw a number of our players arguing with him.
It was always the case that time was only added on for a penalty but these days refs play on and call time when an attack has come to an end.
I’m with the ref on this one. Time was up, play was stopped and he blew the half time whistle.
