Brilliant effort Micheal, thank you.

That’s a lot sold in 4 days. Maybe the Wednesday match gave fans some renewed hope they’d be watching premier league football next season.

Did a quick count up of how many tickets were left together (i.e. excluding singles).

Longside:

2’s - 25
3’s - 6
>3’s - 7 (all NL2)

Jimmy Mc:

2’s - 8
3’s - 2
>3’s - none

Bob Lord: All singles

So anyone considering a ticket with friends or family might want to take a look.

Not member but you need a clarets ID and online account, both of which are free.

Last Count - 24/02/2024

North Stand - 341 (-40)
Jimmy McIlroy - 192 (-20)
Bob Lord - 56 (-11)
Total - 589 (-71)
New Count - 24/04/25:

North Stand - 261 (-80)
Jimmy McIlroy - 114 (-78)
Bob Lord - 42 (-14)
Total - 417 (-181)

Only one pair left in the Jimmy Mc lower behind the goal (great seats - if anyone wants that stand - surprised they’re still on sale). 2x pairs in the Bob Lord wing nearest the CFS. Else all singles in that stand and it’s Longside to sit together.

Just bought one for a friend of mine, 5 seats along from miine in the Longside Upper. Hope the ones in the seats in-between will be amenable to shifting up 1 seat.

That's fine if you're in a stand with no pillars, but if I was to move for some newbie, my view would be affected. The odd game might be bearable, but certainly not permanently

Great to hear miele-man, Leisure’s mate and Crookedbillet have joined the party. All set for our push for Europe next season :s

Last year STs went off sale with just under 170 left available so potentially only 250 really available. If you know people pondering I would tell them to get a wriggle on.

The 'empty seats' seen in the CF are sold. It is amazing how many can fit into 4 seats when you're standing up. And then there is the issue of the stewards not enforcing keeping the gangways and steps clear (although they are rigorous in not allowing a 71 year old hooligan to visit my grandkids sat in the bit directly behind the goal next to the barrier separating home and away sections!).

Have a read of my last count about 10 posts up Dave.

A lot have shifted since then. The pairs in the BL have gone, as has the pair in JM. Only Longside lower and far wing with any together.

Getting close to only singles left. Last year they were taken off sale with about 170 singles left so would say we’re not too far off that point.

Not sure if this will work but here’s a direct link:

https://www.eticketing.co.uk/burnleyfc/ ... /Index/145

Alternatively, go to the website > tickets > enter the code > menu > season tickets.

Its a Premier league rule that a certain percentage of seats have to be kept back for walk ons.

There’s a limit on the number you can sell. I think 10% have to be reserved for walk ons.

So one theory is that they put more on sale than they can actually sell to give fans more choice.

That or they believe there is more value in saying they’re “sold out” than waiting forever for single seats to be sold.

I think it’s just NL2, NL3 and NU9 with any together now. I suspect when they’re sold they might do the same again.

If my assumption than they’ll go off sale with a similar number remaining this year is correct, we only really had 250 remaining when we got promoted. I think that’s a brilliant effort after what has been more functional football this season.

You have to keep in mind that last year we sold out in June so some people will always leave it later in the year to commit, presumably when their circumstances are clearer. The increased likelihood of Saturday 3pm kick offs in the premier league might also be a factor for some.

If we sell out early May, as it looks we might - a month earlier than last year - I think the club will be very happy with that.

No, not surprising, just with the value that our season tickets give I didn't realise we had many fair weather supporters. Of course it's good for the club that they are selling the outstanding tickets.

I was just taken aback by the clamour for tickets for this Saturday's game, and for next season when there's been lots of empty seats this season

What's the split between the number of season tickets allowed to be sold compared to those on sale for each match?

Like everyone else, it seems the club would prefer fewer season ticket sales so they can flog more tickets on a match by match basis.

Per above, 10% have to be retained for home walk ons. Whether that figure includes hospitality where some will be sold on a game by game basis, I’m not sure.

You’d expect they’re confident all these singles will sell on a game by game basis hence don’t think they’re really fussed maxing out ST sales.

Tickets will be a lot harder to come by for next year without doubt.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that some people who haven't got tickets for Saturday are trying to get tickets for Saturday, and that some people may want a season ticket now promotion is confirmed. I don't think 'clamour' is the right word - relatively speaking it will be a small number of supporters who are quietly trying to get themselves sorted with tickets. Surely it's a good thing.

I’ve had season tickets on and off over the years , I can’t get to most games but having one for next season gives me the option of the ticket exchange , much more likely to be taken up in the prem rather than the championship .
That’s the reason for me .

If you look over the course of the season, I think it’s been harder to get tickets than the empty seats on TV suggest.

I’ve looked on before games with very limited seats available, expecting a full house, then you turn up and there’s loads of empty seats. Most of those are ST holders who don’t for whatever reason use ticket exchange and we know the ones that do come up are usually expensive on a one-off basis. So it’s not surprising that people are snapping up ST’s knowing that they’ll be much harder to come across next year and probably the best value ST in the premier league by some distance.

These big celebration games are always going to sell out too. Like you say, great to see them in high demand.

It’s a good system and hopefully advertised much better by the club a lot more next year.

30 or so seats together over 3/4 rows in NL2 have been taken off sale today. All singles now. Don’t expect they’ll be on sale much longer now.

I gave up my season ticket after relegation last season but nothing to do with that or the football on offer. As I said, it was related to a personsal issue but I am now very glad to have a new season ticket and looking forward to going on again.

I gave up my season ticket after relegation last season but nothing to do with that or the football on offer. As I said, it was related to a personsal issue but I am now very glad to have a new season ticket and looking forward to going on again.
Great to hear. Good to have you back for next season.
