I think everyone should just enjoy the ride, it's still only February - way too early to worry about permutations

Leeds would be 4 or 5 down by now if they were playing a decent PL team
Totally agree did you see Newcastle Forrest the other day.

That quality of finishing against Leeds tonight and it would be a bloodbath

The way the game has gone so far I feel Sheffield will need, and are really pushing, for a second. They won't keep this pace and aggression up all game so will leave chances for DL.

I’ve lived in Leeds for 25 years. They’ve always had a habit of losing games I wanted them to win and snatching draws or even wins when I would have been delighted with them losing.

I thought it was quite clear. Vegas was saying that premier league quality finishing and Leeds would be down 4/5 goals.

I said did you watch Newcastle Forrest, if that quality of finishing was on display here it would be a blood bath.

That clear enough?

It'll look far different once Leeds have accrued their traditional 2 points in April.

You’d never know we were unbeaten in 20-odd games, having won 4 of the last 5, the way some talk about what might happen over the remaining games.

I was only reminding dodgy-maths Newcastle to stay positive. Totally agree we just need to focus on our own results.

(mind you, 10 reds and 10 injuries tonight and I wouldn’t complain  )

Leeds have come back into it. Solomon should have scored (or created) at least one when clear.

Let's hope the second half is sees an equaliser.

Leeds have been shocking. I thought keepers were taught to get up quickly after a save, the Leeds keeper was having a lie down and then put it in the net for them.

We want a Leeds win IMO, their offensive structure and ball retention is similar to us under VK. They also have that sprinkle of magic dust in Solomon and goal threats all over the park. You can see how they have been putting teams to the sword.

Other than tempo and bully boy tactics, I'm not seeing anything from Sheff U that worries me.

Hoped Leeds would be too good for Sheff Utd tonight but watching this half confirms these are the best two teams in the division. With our squad we should be above both of these but as it stands we're gonna need a fair bit of luck in the run in to pinch an automatic spot from one of these two teams

So? Have you watched Meslier in that half and thought he’s a decent keeper? He’s flapped all season too.

Meslier is more than a bit dodgy, but I’m not sure he could be blamed for the own goal.

And played every game for Leeds who before this game where top of the league Sheffield Utd i seem to recall made the messiah Muric look a donkey in our 5-2 defeat there recently Meslier is a good keeper unlike Muric who has instantly been forgotten by his lovers on here :)

That Meslier is a big unit. I honestly thought he was like a 'short' but nimbler type of keeper, because I've seen football matches with him in goal, but he's 'literally' a massive wimp who shrinks when he has to do anything.

I'm still baffled by our Leeds performance. They've shown numerous times that they can be got at away from home. We could have beaten them comfortably if we'd gone for them.

I'm surprised by Leeds' mentality. They've allowed Sheff U to get right in their faces and dominate the ref. Can't see our boys allowing this.

Hoping now for either 3 more Sheff Utd goals, or a 2-1 last minute turnaround by Leeds. Something utterly demoralising for either side.
A 1-0 home win is arguably the worst result. Gives Sheff Utd confidence, doesn't give Leeds pause.
