As said on the other thread, very strange. When did they last reach the quarters?

There is a screenshot of one of theirs saying he isn't going to watch his side in the 5th round of the Fa Cup cos "Burnley are boring"

I knew they were a bit weird, but no this much

Makes you wonder where football is heading if that's all they can muster for what should be one of their biggest games in the last 5 years

They have nothing to play for and essentially haven't done since they won the League One play off final in about 2014, so it's very, very weird to see such poor support in a game that at least has a bit about it. I think their fans are just totally apathetic to the club these days - a lot of Liverpool support in Preston above all else.

It's a strange one, I thought this would have caught their imagination a bit more. It's a local derby (albeit not THE derby for either of us), 1/4 finals up for grabs. A welcome break from the slog of the Championship. Even the prices are decent. By the 5th round you've got to be getting into the Cup, even more so when you've nothing else to play for.

Kids football must be a massive thing in Preston because a lot are coming up with the excuse that the early kick off time is causing them and their kids to miss it because of this.

Yes, all 5686.
I was in the ticket office earlier today adding a season ticket and someone came in asking for 2 tickets and they only had 1 ticket that had returned

So if anyone just wants 1 ticket ... you might have a chance !

"Not going cos Burnley are boring" ... oh I am sorry, I forgot preston are like watching total football ajax ...

This from a preston fan. My God, if we're boring I'm not sure where that leaves them. There's called a reason they're called 'preston never ever'

If you're going to stump up an excuse at least make an effort ffs.

They really are a strange club and fanbase.

Not seen it mentioned on here but did anyone else notice the ball boys being purposely slow or not returning the ball at all during our last game? I hope the club put a complaint about this in before the game this weekend.

I don't really think of them as rivals anymore. Was a spell in the late 90s early 2000s where we always seemed to playing each other and close in the league.
I'd struggle to name 2 of their current side but could probably still remember their entire 1 to 11 from that period.

I give you; John Macken, Graham Alexander, Sean Gregan and Michael Jackson. It felt like we played them about 4 times a season for a few years

Gregan and Lenny Jonrose had some fair battles in the middle of the park, not for the faint hearted  They seemed to have Lee Cartwright playing right midfield forever as well.

Ha.. yeah, they were our early noughties Stockport County. PNE always seemed quite a fun derby, compared to some.

Had to have postponement or early kick off requests into the ADJFL before last Saturday.

There’s a lot of 9am kick offs on Saturday

I referenced it in my preview for the league game there. We were in the same division every season from 1996/97 to 2008/09. Since, this season is just the fourth time.

I always recall going to QPR for the third round in 2008/09 and the attendance was just 8,896. It was mocked on our old message board with claims that we would blow that out of the water for the replay. The attendance at the Turf was 3,760.

Latest I have seen from their forum. Apparently 15k sold (including our 5k).

I'd honestly expect an attendance around 16000 if it was at the turf. I'll be honest. I'd probably not be going if it was at home.

I worked in Preston for years. Worked with a good number of PNE & Blackpool fans. One of the lads there was a Preston fan whose son went on to play for Blackpool although sadly he died with cancer before his son played in the first team.

Yes they are, hence why we've decided to go. There's 4 of us and after paying £80 to go 2 weeks ago it's just about manageable

I got my ticket attached to the confirmation email from the club, almost straight after I ordered my tickets.

Have you checked the email you got after buying the tickets?

Thanks Guys. I traced the original confirmation email and there was a tiny Android logo at the bottom. Clicked on that and a couple of steps later, success. Last time, it was in my ticket wallet and downloaded from there.

This way was not very obvious!

Appreciate the assistance, as always.

And according to the Fan Board meeting, they're going to introduce workshops at the ground to show people how their new digital season ticket works.

That should be good.
