Anybody who paid, thinking our best team was going to be playing would have been better not going
I think they were short-changed today.

Sorry Nori, but that's a stupid comment.

Not really all that matters though, is it? A cup game, against local rivals, while their ‘star man’ is being investigated for racist abuse directed at one of our players? Joke of a lineup and a joke of a performance.
I think we’re demeaning ourselves if we really think PNE are our rivals ,Leeds and Sheff Utd are our rivals,Preston are for the last 60 yrs the worst team in Lancashire.Blackpool ,Bastards ,Bolton,Wigan and us have all made the top flight.

You mean like Esteve, arguably the player of the season so far?
OK
My mistake, didn't realise he was playing I was watching the match in the background.

Today once again highlighted that both Laurent and Koleosho are poor footballers.

Laurent looked so exposed in a midfield two. He’s not a good passer of the football, isn’t comfortable in possession and lacks any kind of footballing nous.

Koleosho came up against someone who was equally as quick as he was….and he had absolutely nothing else he could offer. He’s clumsy and indecisive and we’re a much poorer team with him in it.
Laurent was a sub who came on when the game was lost For the previous hour Brownhill, Shelvey and Sarmiento put in the worst midfield performance of the season.

How do you conclude Laurent is the issue?

Where did I say that? Laurent wasn’t the reason we got beat by Preston. But at 2-0 when you are chasing the game you need better quality than him to get you back in the game. He looked completely lost and didn’t have the required ability to get the game by the scruff of the neck. He’s a good physical specimen but he’s not a footballer. He showed this (yet again) last night at Cardiff in his substitute appearance.

I don't mind Laurent, no nonsense footballer, does a job. Perfect backup for the midfield. Certainly miles ahead of Shelvey, who I don't think we will see another appearance from. Hope we ain't paying much
