I'm pleased with this one for a change.

We plan to go and watch Padiham away at Bury that day.
We will be able to watch Burnley in the pub beforehand.

Putting the fans first.

I presume you booked your train ticket in advance, burnmark.

Our trip has been affected too. The driver can no longer go.

Get on the train and go to Brum. Plenty to do there.

It means getting up at 4.30am.........hate early kick-offs.
Could be my imagination, but is our record as good in these as the later games?

I've given up the 4:30am kick offs (unless it's that lot down the road). I get up at normal time, avoid the interweb for a coupe of hours while I watch it on demand.

I absolutely play it by ear. I’ll set the alarms but if I’m not feeling it I’ll stay in bed and watch it later like you.

Yes. I only needed a single back to Burnley as got other arrangements to get there. It was only around £15 at that time whereas the others were north of £50. Decided to plump for it at that price.

Apart from a quick walk around the bombed cathedral there is the square root of zero.

It's grim.

Very grim

If train times aren't too bad get a Coventry to Warwick return and have a look round Warwick rather than Coventry probably only half hour or so away.

Just jump on the train with the rest of the Burnley fans. If the conductor pulls you, just say the police forced you on the train getting away fans out of the City.

It happens many times.

We are on the 18:36 back to Preston so will be having a couple of beers in town after the game

We stopped over in the Kompany season and found quite a few good boozers and the local were extremely friendly

UTC

Just to let you know, CT, that the fixture list is still showing 1500 hrs.
