Edwards brillliant.

Did the ball go out? I didn't think so. Not the full line.

I'm not certain either, but it must've been very close... Definitely would've been out if we'd conceded it. ;)

Preston hit the post just before sheffield United scored too. They just keep churning them out the buggers.

Unfamiliar confusion between ER and Esteve.

Trafford looking like his true height.

Seem to have lost momentum since bringing the 2 subs on.

Perfect layoff by Sonne. Benson fooled al of them when he played Sonne down the line. Everyone thought he'd move inside onto his left.

Wait for the payer ratings... 5's, with the odd 4, some lads will come on and tell you it's not a 4-0 game, and Parker still should be sacked.

I'll go 4's all round +1 for the scorers. Foster 3

Comfortable win today against 10 men but put the game to bed well. Won't be long though before some sad idiot comes along to try and use todays win to have a go at other Burnley fans instead of just enjoying it.

Not always easy against 10 men if they keep you at bay for 20 mins or so. Clinical performance and keeps the pressure on. Leeds will hopefully be feeling a bit more heat!

Not a case of 4s & 5s but our final passes in the danger area were awful again.
Our first 3 goals were:
1) an OG
2) an accidental handball by Anthony but it should have been ruled out.
3) the ball was possibly out of play before Edwards pull back.

Total control and possession was excellent until the vital pass.

Just watched the goals (streams were **** so unfortunately missed most of it)

What a finish by Ash. An absolute typical Barnes goal. I fear a lot of our team would have made a mess of that!

Great to see him scoring again

Yet again people posting absolute rubbish on here.
Laurent for Hannibal, added physicality, against a physical side, and it’s Ramadan which was bound to affect Hannibal’s performance on a hot day.
Accidental handball in the build up to a goal isn’t penalised, unless it is by the goal scorer. Hence Fosters goal was correctly given.
Edwards “may” have let the ball go out of play before crossing for Brownhill goal. I guess the he “may not” have then.
It’s like a competition to see who can be the most critical of our display, even though we won 4 bloody nil.

Do they use goal-line technology in the Championship?
And, if yes, does it apply to the goal only?

They just weren’t awful at all. The first 3 goals were an own goal from a ball across the 6 yard line, a ball inside the 6 yard box from a good run from anthony and a precision pullback from the byline. There was also a good ball that Laurent missed from, and the barnes goal. That’s 5 big chances….. a lot in any game.

Between the posts only for GLT.

Same in the EPL, but they’ll check via VAR to see if the ball went out of play.

Sadly we don’t have Salah or DeBruyne…………it’s called The Championship……….stick ball in net.

Job done.

I think I'll spend a bit of time designing all round the pitch line technology. Many, many sensors and a very special ball. :D
