New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
As you'd expect the Ewood faithful are backing the new chap to the hilt.
Re: New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
Was hoping they'd have a bit of an upturn in form as they play Sheff United on the last day.
Could do with them having something to play for going into that game.

Re: New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
Far too good a manager for Blackburn - they’ll struggle to adapt to his style of play

Re: New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
All it needs is for the Blackburn players to be told before this game that several clubs are looking at a number of their players, that should do the trick.
Re: New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
baddie, several Clubs maybe looking at their players, IE, Gillingham, Doncaster, Morecambe.

Re: New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
He is a crap appointment, so I understand those posts.
They were in 5th place when Eustace left. Perfectly placed to bring in a serious manager with the brief being promotion. They could have tempted a few with a £1m promotion bonus for effectively six months work. This kind of job doesn't come up very often I.e a club sat inside the top 6 with 12 games to go. Many would jump at the chance, especially at a club with the pedigree they have. Think of the names they could have brought in.
What do those clown owners and their lapdogs do instead though? They bring in the most dreary and drab candidate they can find. A manager with no track record of success. A manager who has never managed a big club in England before. What has he done in the game to warrant being the Blackburn manager? He is already finding the job to be too much for him and is taking them backwards. The wrong appointment.
He'll be gone by December. Mark my words.

To misquote an ex- Burnley manager, It’s Blackburn not Barcelona. He managed Watford with a much stronger recent history of being in the Premier league than Blackburn.Hutchy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 12:30 pmHe is a crap appointment, so I understand those posts.

Re: New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
Watford have been in the Prem a few times these past 10 years, but let's be honest, they aren't a patch on Blackburn. The size of the club, the expectation, trophies won, the respect around the world...Blackburn wipe the floor with Watford on all of those counts.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 1:13 pmTo misquote an ex- Burnley manager, It’s Blackburn not Barcelona. Stronger recent history? They've done nothing in the Prem have Watford apart from make an appearance. Nobody remembers them. Nobody misses them. That's a complete contrast to Blackburn who many neutrals want back in the Premier League.
Honestly, if you mention Watford FC around the world all you'll get back is "Oh yeah, Troy Deeney". That's it. That's all people remember them for.
The truth is, Ismael has bitten off far more than he can chew. He's not the man. Just like David Moyes at United, he's now realising what he has walked into. He'll be gone soon.

Hutchy, you forgot to mention Watford also had a world famous well known owner in Elton John, who like the Venky’s was pouring money into the Club. They could go for the bstds women’s team manager next. Oh dear, they’ve also lost today at Charlton.

Hutchy is my new favourite poster, purely for the comedy value
On my travels to Singapore, Australia, the USA and South Africa, all the locals spoke of the mystical, huge, behemoth entity that is Blackburn Rovers
Hutchy mate, at this point I feel sorry for you.

I can't recall ever coming across a single neutral person who has wished for Blackburn to back in the PL. It's laughably delusional

Re: New Manager Bounce at Ewood?
And he still hasn't managed a big club in England you could say he is on a downward trajectory Barnsley Watford WBA Basturds the clubs he's managed have got progressively more insignificant with each appointment. 'gone by December' with the horse fiddlers entrenched at the bottom of the league & cut adrift hopefully.Hutchy wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 12:30 pmHe is a crap appointment, so I understand those posts.

Evening or should i say hello midnight Clarets,
I have been reading some of the deluded comments from the person who goes by the name of "HUTCHY" after reading his said comments he really is one to laugh at, however my point being that just before our friend came on here to start his tirade against us, a film was shown on tv about 4/5 months ago or possibly longer, the person in that film was called "HUTCHY" this film is where our Rover/barsteward loving friend has got the name from........and the name of the film is called......wait for it is !........ "NOBODY" i rest my case.
. ps The film is Excellent by the way, watch it if you get the chance 10/10 from me.
