Re: Team for tonight
I wouldn't drop Foster after his goal, we need to carry his confidence building now plus Flemming hasn't offered anything for a while so doesn't deserve his place

This. Laurant was brought in to do a job on adebayo, which he did, Hannibal back in the only change id make.
Re: Team for tonight
Didn't realise that the excellent molumby is also suspended tonight.

My reasoning is turnover. Foster/Flemming is my one doubt. I'd love - wouldn't we all,?- Lyle to get scoring more.

Re: Team for tonight
I think it will just be Hannibal coming in for Laurent.
Foster should stay up top. Offers much more than Flemming in general play, in my view, and now he has his goal I think Parker will be wanting to build on that for the run-in.

Expect Hannibal to disrupt their good passing play. Looking forward to seeing who he chooses between Foster and Flemming. Wouldn't be surprised if it was either

Re: Team for tonight
I’d personally have Foster in. Build on the confidence he must have picked up after his goal.

Wouldn't be a massive surprise if we went same again after a relatively light work out on Saturday. Certainly wouldn't drop Foster.

Tresor pictured in training again recently...
Re: Team for tonight
Furlong is definitely suspended, he's just lost his appeal against the red card last Saturday.

Re: Team for tonight
Furlong is suspended for 3 games after failed appeal
Molumby is not suspended (he only has 9 YCs - transfermarkt is incorrect), but he may be rested. If he got a YC tonight he would be suspended for 2 games (Hull at home, Norwich away) which are much more crucial to WBA in chasing 6th than against us tonight. If he doesn't get booked tonight then the count resets and he would need another 6 YCs in the last 9 games to get any suspension this season

Re: Team for tonight
Good news Furlong not playing , a proper cynical clogger. I seem to remember at the Turf last time he wipe Benson out ball and man and he had to go off injured. A deliberate attempt to put Benson out of the game.

Why we aren't above SU. A clown of a ref and a chicken for an assistant ref.

I didn't see the game, only the goals.Apart from the tap in from 2 yards which any striker would have scored, did he do anything else?claretspice wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 9:04 amWouldn't be a massive surprise if we went same again after a relatively light work out on Saturday. Re: Team for tonight
Rumor is that Molumby won’t play as he only needs 1 yellow which would give him a 2 match ban Manager has hinted he can’t be risked tonight

Don’t care about the starting 11 tbh as they are all up for it now. But tonight is massive. Biggest game of the season yet imo

Re: Team for tonight
I pressed submit too soon, i meant to add:
Too much possession (wasted) goes through Anthony when he's on the pitch, I'd like to see that go through Edwards, he should be the focal point

Re: Team for tonight
Edwards is already double marked, I think this switch would mean even more players would concentrate on him.

Re: Team for tonight
Hannibal was unlucky to miss out on Saturday, that said, the whole team played really well, so I’d keep the same starting eleven.
Re: Team for tonight
So potentially 3 players on one player? Not seen that since Maradona in 86 and we know how that ended up.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 6:03 pmEdwards is already double marked, I think this switch would mean even more players would concentrate on him.
