We deserve **** all.
A pathetic performance on a night where we should have been up for it.
When will SP learn that slow, slow, slow only helps the opposition and not us. We're a different team on the front foot, but we never got out of second gear. What a waste.

Stupid from CJER. But unless he's done something that I cant see, that's not a red card in a million years
Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
We are to easy to set up against. An experienced manager like Mowbray with experienced pros knew exactly what to do to interrupt the flow, and they aren’t a bad team either. Disappointing at the end but it’s a point gained for me.

Just watching the event after the final whistle. CJ trips the wba player nothing more.never a read.
SP looks in shock at his red. Will be interesting to see his side of it.

Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
Minimum of 3, depends on if they investigate it for "violent conduct" at which point it could increase, or if we appeal and it's investigated fully for the elbow on CJ mixed with it being not a huge amount in it from CJ's retaliation. Hard to say for sure, this was definitely way less than when Maatsen got sent off in the Blackpool game a few years ago for us, but still really puts us in a bad position defensively.
Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
A poor display and very disappointed. Hopefully Brizzle hang on. We need to be better.

CJ isn’t the last man, he cynically trips the player. It’s a yellow.

We were very lucky not to have some serious injuries after that. Cullen and Esteve. Ref let them get away with far too much.

Better option to come in than Worrall is the suggestion.

Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
So, let me get this right. CJER gets fouled (an elbow at that) and he frustratingly lashes out and gets a red after the ref didn’t add enough time. Is that about right?

CHAOS AT SHEFFIELD NOW.
Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
Same results as early season as as he played early season tactics- I wish he would learn- was hoping for Foster to join Fleming when we had a bit of time left- but he will never make that choice- just don't get it.

Its not an terrible result but Parker makes comments about putting the pedal to the floor then makes the same over cautious like for like substitutions when there's 3pts to be won.
They say doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity, well insanity let me introduce you to Scott Parkers substitutions

I’ve done nothing but support this cowardly football, there’s absolutely no excuses for it anymore. As for comments about my mother, well that’s uncalled for especially when you don’t know the circumstances surrounding my mother.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 9:48 pmWhy don't you **** off and try and support for once - that's after you've finished sucking on your mums tit.

Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
Baggies were a good team, let’s not forget that. They could have won tonight and it would have been fair. We didn’t play badly, but I feel the ref ruined what could have been a great game.

Won the last two home games 4-0, was it ‘cowardly’ then?

U were the biggest negative Nellie last season when the team battled hard (post Christmas certainly) in a much tougher league. Now we can’t moan about negative football in the league below without mothers being brought into it?CoolClaret wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 9:52 pmSick of negative nellies that are always trying to stick the knife in with hysterical b0llocks. I think the better course of action would be Egan-Riley behaving himself.

Pushing someone is deliberate retaliation. That's not a red card unless it's to the head
It can only be a red card for violent conduct or endangering an opponent. Its a cynical trip from CJER, and no more.

Did anyone think that would be an easy game. They drew at Leeds last week. Another point on the board.

Re: The SUPER CLARETS vs The Baggies - Match Thread
We never play as well midweek after a fixture pile up. Mowbray set his team up exactly as he did when we drew 0-0 to his Sunderland side under VK, he really knows how to play against this style of football, see the 1-1 at Leeds the other week too. Disappointing result but Sheff U’s draw means we are still well in the hunt. Probably the worse outcomes of the night are the suspension to ER and injury to Foster.

Thought that was one of the most entertaining games of the season and that”s all I want.
Second half was a bit stop start and frustrating with some niggly fouls and injuries which disrupted the flow of the first half.

I don’t know what’s up with our fans these days. It’s like they expect the opposition just to roll over every game. WBA played well tonight and gave us a game.

Anyway, that Sunday League ref aside, I’d have taken no slippage against Sheff Utd tonight. Leeds, with their run in, will be gone.

This is a forum for fans to have an opinion whether positive or negative. You were the biggest whining cry baby arse last season after every game, yet I’m not allowed to comment after a frustrating negative draw?
