I would love us to go for Berger from Stoke in the summer, regardless of what division we are in.

Millwall cant handle Leeds. Can’t see them scoring. That OG was pathetic.

They did ok in the first half, not much in it, but they've been very much second best in the second half.TheOriginalLongsider wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 9:04 pmMillwall cant handle Leeds. Can’t see them scoring. That OG was pathetic.

Re: Tonight Games
On Sunday Portsmouth beat table toppers Leeds, a few days later they trail bottom team Plymouth by 2-0. Just about sums the Championship up.

Vini Jr with one of the worst pens you'll see, not even close to being on target

DL 2 up
Re: Tonight Games
Tanaka is surely the signing of the season in the Championship. £3m Leeds paid. Would absolutely love his profile in our midfield.

Re: Tonight Games
We’ve dropped 4?
Rovers being two games after our summer fire sale probably didn’t help.

Another great result for Villa tonight and would be brilliant if they became yet another English club to win the top prize in European club football

In the same way that Leeds dropped points against Portsmouth home and away, Hull, Blackburn home and away, Preston away, Millwall away, Norwich away.Stonehouse wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 10:02 pmSorry my mistake, but still those 4 points could have had us top.
Football doesn't work the way some seem to think where you just win every game you think you should.

Re: Tonight Games
Just watched highlights.
Josh Smith (Oxford v Hull) - another total clown of a referee.
Absolutely stonewall penalty for Hull in the last few seconds of the game. Somehow he books Puerto for simulation - his 2nd yellow so he picks up a one match man.
I'm not in favour of VAR, but in a situation like this, he has to be sure, so he might at least check with the assistant referee and 4th official.
Apart from anything else, why would he dive? Blast it towards goal, and if he misses it goes to row Z and the ref blows up for full-time.
