It’s best just not to bite :D .

Must say one thing that has struck me, is just how together and tight knit the team is this season.

Probably read more negative than positive about Parker upon joining, but one thing he absolutely appears to have, is the ability to galvanise a team and get them playing for him.

We look to have a team who want to play for each other.

Parker, for me, appears to be a manager who keeps very calm, commands respect of the team, and doesn’t desire the limelight like some managers do.

I guess to sum him up so far, I’d say he’s a pragmatic and disciplined leader who who commands the respect of his team in an understated, but effective, manner.

I like him, and I like this team. The signing of Edward’s and subsequent form has galvanised that viewpoint.

Totally appreciate the use of underappreciated as a one word summary.

I think it's safe to say that when you walk into a club that has Trafford, Egan Riley, Roberts and Esteve all sat there, you are quite fortunate, would you not agree?

All of whom (Esteve excepted) got pelters on here last season, even the start of this season, and their confidence was no doubt shot to pieces.

It's to Parker's credit that he's moulded us into a promotion chasing team once again.

I guess you can show at least 1 post of yours saying how lucky Parker was to have Egan Riley when he was appointed. Trafford was hammered on here most of last season by some as well.

"It's a very young side still learning the game"
With Roberts 29, Brownhill 29, Cullen 29, Laurent 29, Benson 28, Anthony 25, Flemming 26/27, Edwards 26/27
Not forgetting Worrall, Shelvey, Barnes, Redmond and Hladky

Young as in time together - for a group to bond into a team - I think is what he means.... and not forgetting when he was sayin that Edwardsm Shelvey and Barnes weren't at the club, and Redmond and Hladky weren't in the team - but if you want to get a stick to beat a manager with, then good on you.

As for my sentence... an under rated, under appreciated, proper leader, delivering excellent points returns, with a team demonstrating admirable qualities, strong togetherness, hard work and decent morals - a proper Burnley team.

or

Chief Humble Pie Deliverer.

Take your pick.

Pragmatic, thoughtful and has done an excellent job so far in making the most from the hand he was dealt with towards the end of the Summer transfer window.
