So sad to read your update Roper. Your honesty, in sharing, and courage, for the battle, are outstanding. Keep fighting for your new normal life and I pray you have the best of family and friends around to aid you.
Best wishes going forward.

Really feel for your plight , very difficult to say anything that is adequate.
Its not a condition I have knowledge of, but my brother i law is in same position, not much older than yourself.
He is uncertain as yet as the medics were trying to rule out any other possible issues.
I wish you well Roper. Keep strong.

Hi Roper, (A TRUE friend)
Mick here, im so sorry to read what you have put, its almost 2yrs that you and i met for the first time, i remember very well the photo you took of us both and posted on here when you came to meet me, i was a Claret & in a bad place & i wanted to end it all in Gt Yarmouth,we talked for only a short time but you helped me to see life was worth living after all, all i can say is that if you need ME to come to you with that 2022 Championship scarf then say the word and i will do my best to get to you, your a good man & i wish you nothing but the best and hope that something comes along to help you in the very near future, as i said to you approx 12 months ago you were there for me, and now im there for you, if you need me at all, my very best wishes also go to your wife and children, we are ALL a Claret family and help others in need if possible, wishing you well...............Mick.

Thank you for continuing to update us, I have the utmost admiration for your bravery. I read back to your original post and noticed your age - 5-6 years younger than me and it really hits home. I can't do anything but send my very best wishes to a fellow Claret, take care.

There's a lot of love being shown on here (rightly).

Roper - to have such strength in the face of such adversity is truly inspiring. I hope you can keep fighting and continue to look for, and take the positives.

As others have said, there's little, if anything, any of us can do but offer our best wishes and hopes for you. My best wishes to you, Roger.

Roper, my best wishes for continuing to deliver family life as usual, as well as continuing to work full time.

Both phenomenal feats, given your health status.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Keep that going, please!

Good luck and thank you again.

Very stressful reading these stories but so important to hear about them nonetheless.

The resilience and bravery being shown is an inspiration to us all, I wish you and the family all the best.

Very difficult to read of your plight but ,yes, inspirational to see your mindset and resilience in the face of such terrible luck. Life is so random and unfair in terms of the health and wellbeing lottery ……Wishing you and your family all the very best and hoping you can feel the support from your fellow Clarets.
I well remember your kindness to MickSouth and you are a good man.

I don't know you....
You don't have to know you to feel the unwavering character that you are.
Most feelings stated above by many men and women touched by your words and ongoing fight.

Not much more to input but hope you can keep going in this manor as long as you can.
A terrible situation for you and your family made into a thread here, that is full of emotion and honesty.

Take care.
All the best

Not sure what to post what hasn't already been said. If you can keep on posting everybody's got your back & it can't do any harm in the slightest.
