Very pleasing performance which ‘deserved’ to be more comfortable, a real intensity from the team throughout.

Thought that was a great home performance. If we’d have won by 3 or 4 would have been a fair result.

He did put one on a plate for Anthony too in that first half after winning the ball back with no right to. Very unlucky not to have a goal and an assist. I don't think anyone was dire in that first half, but all opinions. I do agree he's not a centre forward, however.

Flemming had a good game, they couldn’t deal with him for large parts, not sure what you were watching, did you miss the golden chance he created for Anthony, for example?

The only baffling thing about today was how it only ended up 1-0. We battered them

Trafford - 7

Roberts - 7
CJER - 8
Esteve - 8
Pires - 8 - thought he had an excellent game both ends of the pitch

Cullen - 9* - just edged MOM
Brownhill - 7 - surprised he got hooked
Laurent - 7 - work rate, immense

Edwards - 9 - brilliant
Flemming - 7
Anthony - 7 - some great work but missed out on a hat trick with poor finishing

Foster - 6

Picked up where we left off before the international break.

Trafford- 7 - largely unemployed but safe and composed.

Roberts - 8 - dominated the right half of the pitch and allowed Edwards to shine.

Pires - 8 - showing his quality with a run of games behind him and all he needs to add now is a more decisive final ball.

Egan Riley - 8 - occasionally stretched but equal to it.

Esteve - 8 - as Egan Riley.

Cullen - 9 - put a random pass out of play for a throw in. It stands out because he was otherwise flawless.

Laurent- 7 - won the physical argument in midfield and backed Cullen up.

Brownhill- 7 - lively and tidy for the most part.

Edwards- 8 - showed huge quality and even when he wasn't creating chances himself he was drawing men and creating space elsewhere, mainly for Anthony.

Anthony- 6 - a decent day tee to green but he had two golden chances and two very presentable ones and he will know he should have scored at least one. His final ball generally was below par, at least until he ditched the short corners and finally put a couple of classy conventional ones in the box.

Flemming - 8 - delightful free kick which kick started his afternoon and from then on he knitted our play together nicely. Would have liked him to stay on and Foster play from the left in place of Anthony in the final 30.

Foster - 7 - difficult game to really get into but his runs in behind added an extra dimension and it was no coincidence that Edwards had his best spell of the game after he came on.

We thrashed a very decent championship side 1-0 today, to underline the gulf between the top 3 and the pretenders to the play offs. Tee to green our play was excellent, and only showed couple of sloppy moments defensively, and some profligacy at the other end, threatened to derail us. It should have been 3 or 4 nil but in the event we held on without many alarms.

A good days work and Leeds continued patchy form begins to put a slightly different complexion on the promotion race.

I thought we were mostly excellent today, totally in control and but some some poor finishing and bad decision making in and around the box, could’ve easily ran out 4-0 winners.

A really enjoyable day albeit a bit nervy at the end. If it had been a boxing match it would have been stopped. Only complaint was we didn’t put more chances away but should have been a drubbing for Bristol City.

A couple of sixes for pires is pathetic, shouldn’t rate if you didn’t watch the game.

We did what we needed to do, and played some good football today, against a form side, who were second best by a long distance.
On another day, we'd not have had such a nervous last 10 minutes.

Trafford- 7. Absolutely nothing to do but what he did he did well.

Roberts- 8. Passing range excellent, first touch out of this world
CJ- 8. Solid performance as ever and handled Armstrong and Wells pretty well
Esteve- 8. As above
Pires- 8. Probably his best game for us

Cullen- 9. Outstanding as ever. Rats around, gets stuck into challenges and sets the tone for us. Player of the season
Brownhill- 5. Anonymous. Another game against a half decent side where he does not impact a game
Laurent- 7. Second half quieter than the first but played a big part in getting us out from the back and covers the ground effortlessly.

Anthony- 7. Missed some big chances, but you have to get in those positions. Work rate phenomenal
Flemming- 7. Great strike. Not helped by the referee
Edwards- 7. Technically so good

Foster- 7. Good work rate. Not helped by our avoidance of passing the ball to him on more than one occasion.

One of the best all round performances of the season so far I'd say, 4/5-0 and Bristol couldn't have complained.

Trafford 7 - quicker distribution today
Roberts 8
Pires 7 - his best game for us without a doubt, started to struggle slightly when the number 7 came on though
Egan-Riley 7
Esteve 8
Cullen 9 - ran the game
Brownhill 7
Laurent 6
Edwards 7

Very impressive performance which, with more clinical finishing, could have been 3 or 4 - nil without complaint.

Trafford 7
Roberts 8
Egan-Riley 8
Esteve 8 (this defensive partnership is an absolute joy)
Pires 8 (his best game for us)
Cullen 8
Laurent 7
Edwards 8 (occupies defenders, teams are scared of him)
Brownhill 7
Anthony 7 (should have had two, but never gives up)
Flemming 8 (great free kick and a real handful)

Foster 7

Trafford 8 Nowt to do but he looks very assured, now.
Roberts 8 I’ve never been his biggest fan as he’s painfully slow but this run of form is as good as he’s played for us and he deserves credit. He was great today.
Pires 8 Getting better with every game
CJ 9 He’s a brilliant defender. The moment in the second half when he just took the ball off their lad in the right back position was a bit unfair really.
Esteve 8 Similarly superb. Their big lad was a handful, but Maxime is just far too good for most at this level. Only let down by his distribution, which might be to our advantage in the summer.
Cullen 8 Tenacious in the tackle and must be the fittest player at the club.
Laurent 8 Defensively superb.
Brownhill 7 Quiet today but is crucial part of our most balanced midfield three.
Edwards 7 He’s got great ability. Need some goals from him.
Anthony 7 Missed two absolute sitters but makes up for it with his physical attributes which are absolutely crucial to how Parker wants us to play.
Flemming 7 Sublime goal but the ball bounces off him like he’s made of stone and he’s still not learnt how to buy us cheap free kicks in the Barnes style.

Foster 6 He’s miles off the required standard for this division let alone the one above.

From tv
Trafford 7
Roberts 8
CJ 8
Esteve 8
Pires 8 improving every game
Cullen 7
Laurent 6
Brownhill 7
Edwards 8 mom constantly causes problems
Flemming 7 great free kick
Anthony 7 could have been a 9 if he had done the simple things right. So frustrating.
Foster 6 never really got into the game

We had to get three points today, which we did but in a frustrating performance. We could have scored at least three but, like most other games this season, we lack that killer instinct in and around the box. Too many players flattered to deceive today, though I suppose the result is the important thing. On to the next game.

Trafford 7 (how can a virtual spectator get owt else?)
Roberts 7
CJER 9
Esteve 8
Pires 8
Cullen 9
Laurent 7
Brownhill 8
Anthony 8 (Why he's not playing PL footy in a nutshell. Absolutely 100% commitment and tons of skill, but just lacking that extra X factor when it matters!)
Edwards 9 (Playing on a totally different level to anyone on the pitch, maybe even the whole division! The guy gets some **** passes, but he always makes something of them. Absolute quality!!)
Flemming 8 (Not really a natural number 9, but possibly his best showing in that role today and the free kick was utterly sublime!)!

Subs 6
Possibly the most one sided 1-0 I've ever seen. If we could convert chances it could have been 8-0, but at only one it's obviously nerve racking!!!We have some excellent quality in this team both at the back and going forward and if we'd had Edwards all season we'd have been 6 or 7 points clear because all those 0-0s which are hurting us would have been completely different! Can't complain about much today apart from not making the game comfortable with more goals, crap refereeing and Swansea missing a penalty!!! The door opened a little wider for us today and we need to press that home next week when surely Coventry can't be as crap as they were last night!!

Really good performance, the only thing missing was the second goal. Made an in form play off hunting Bristol City look average at best.

Are we peaking at the right time?
