Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
I've had the 40s and 60s Burnley shirts from Toffs for years and still in good nick. Really good quality.
Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
Are they struggling? I’ve never seen them have all their stock reduced as much.
I wonder if the emergence of other companies like Score Draw (who produce the retro Burnley shirts we sell) have taken up their customers.

Yeah score draw are so much better than toffs. They've been left in the dust

Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
Ive had the 59/60 Toffs shirt for 25+ years and its still in pretty decent condition (quality cotton). I got the lace collar older shirt after seeing this and it was delivered yesterday (with "2" on the back)- very nice it is too, especially for that sale price (£29.50 for shirt with number + delivery).ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 7:47 pmhttps://www.toffs.com/shop-by-team/foot ... ball-shirt

Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
Define 'better'. Toffs were/are better quality and had an incomparably bigger range.
Which could of course have been the problem, assuming there is one. Probably fewer overheads in concentrating on polyester-era England kits instead of having a warehouseful of 1980s China, 1960s Atalanta and 1970s Chicago Sting shirts not leaving the shelves.
Ah well. At least I got the retro Fiorentina one I was after for Christmas. Shame about the Hungary and Czechoslovakia ones, but hey-ho.

Better licensing, more wearable shirts, just prefer them all round for what they do.Enola Gay wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 6:16 pmDefine 'better'. Toffs were/are better quality and had an incomparably bigger range.

As you say, not many people are cutting around in a lace up Burnley shirt.
It seems all the stock has gone from the site now

Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
I am currently cutting around in my new lace up Burnley shirt as it arrived yesterday. Excellent quality thick cotton. Popped it on because it’s in the 10-15c range this week, last chance I’ll get to wear it til November. Got a few compliments at the brewery last night as well.

Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
I think they have gone under?
Bought 2 shirts beginning of April - need to send the England L/S back as the sizing is not like their T Shirts.
To return you have to ring for a return authorisation number.
I have rung 4 times every day since Monday and sent 2 emails too and no response which is poor for what is a very good product although sizing varies from garment to garment.

Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
I’m also wondering if the business has gone into administration. I ordered a Burnley shirt on 26th March and promptly received both payment acknowledgement and an order confirmation. An email said I would receive a Royal Mail tracking number when the product is shipped. Two weeks on and I’m still to receive a tracking number. As with Flixton, I’ve had no response to emails or phone calls/messages.
Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
Thats doesn't sound good then?
Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
All stock has been removed over a week ago as my comment above. Doesn't look good

Re: Toffs Retro Burnley Shirt Sale
Maybe get Accy Clarets to run a coach up to the North East filled with disgruntled Clarets?
