Re: General Info - Coventry (a)
Been a time since I was at that office block and courtyard of a ground, however, I remember parking in the shopping mall nearby. Made a purchase in M&S which then got parking verified.
You can then take the item back and let your money back, later.
Unfortunately, my wife (now deceased) liked what I had bought!
So the warning is....this could be free but expensive parking!

Re: General Info - Coventry (a)
Anyone planning on going via train? Only ever driven before but we are planning on getting the train from Manchester.
There are two options i've looked at.
- Just over an hour to Nuneaton and then an Uber or bus to the stadium or another train to Coventry Arena.
- Two hour direct train to Coventry then an Uber or bus to the stadium or another train to Coventry Arena.
Think the first option to Nuneaton is probably the best with the much shorter train to Nuneaton but wondered what others were planning?

Saint Finnbarrs for parking. £5 and about 10 minutes walk to ground.
https://www.saintfinbarrs.com/
I am on the train this time but there are regular shuttle buses running from the train station to the ground.

I also parked here. About a 15 minute walk from the ground, but easy to get away after the game.aggi wrote: ↑Fri Apr 04, 2025 9:06 pmLast time round I parked at this pub.
