Flag Staff on Bob Lord Stand
Flag Staff on Bob Lord Stand
Was driving past the ground today and it Is looking a bit past it, it looks like someone nailed a brush steel up there and fed some washing line round it.
With all the other improvements that have been made Is it time for a nice new modern one?

Interestingly, it was always the practice that the flag should be flown on a home match day, otherwise not at all. Until recently, it was the last place you might see the club badge, but they've replaced it with a new flag with a one colour badge.
Re: Flag Staff on Bob Lord Stand
Other than match days, the flag was raised to half mast, when a player had died.

Interestingly, I was talking to someone about this at the club today.
They've gone for a new LED flag that can programmable, similar to the LED boards.
I've not seen it in the flesh, but they showed me the pic. See attached.
Looks alright. Not sure

Can you get a small one of these approved to bring on the game in the stands?

Whilst they are up there, can they stick some bulbs behind the 'BURNLEY FOOTBALL CLUB 'lettering?
I'm happy to nip to B&Q to get some if it helps.
