We were good for the first 20-30.mins but then they just kept hammering it in the air and our midfield struggled to actually get hold of the ball. We got drawn i to a bit of a s rap and lost. Was the fa cup at Deepdale mark II

Eustace will get football done away with. Create an awful pitch to negate football and just keep the ball in the air.
Not unhappy with our 4 points from 2 tough away games

What does Edward’s offer? Incredibly gifted and tidy footballer but not doing it for me of the team atm.

Does anyone remember the old Derby pitch at the Baseball ground in the 70s ? Although tonight pitch was crap by today's standards it was still bowling green-esque compared to back then.

I see our hard-won point away from home has brought in some of the usual suspects, armed with their bags of pessimistic shite.

I said out of the last three games this was the hardest one … that pitch is like that on purpose like Preston’s … 7 points return is good enough for me

It may be a bad pitch but it's the same for both teams
We just lost impetus and tactics
But at least a point

Gotta give credit to Derby - they went at it 100%, pressed us hard in possession and pushed us back at times. But credit to our defence for holding strong. They're a different animal recently and look possessed to stay up, and with the Sheff Utd result, then it's definitely a point gained for us. Shame we have such a short turnaround for Friday as that was as physical a game as we'll have played all season.

Seven points from a set of three fixtures I was really worrying about is a great return. Need to win the next two now and hope that as a bonus Sheff United slip up again.

Pitch worse than Chorleys but why did Ash not get on at half time.?A decent point but some tired legs out there. Edwards struggled on the rough pitch but Brownhill offered little in support for him

We've got away with one there. It's an absolute sitter at the end for Yates if their big dope of a centre half hadn't taken it off him

You can't blame them for that.
Derby had a game plan and executed it well; a point against the league leaders is always a good result, but at this end of the season and given their precarious position they'll be cracking open the champagne in their dressing room.

Several times tonight he lost the ball, and didn't make any attempt to try and win it back. He also ducked out of a few tackles.

This also happened against Coventry. It's also happened against other teams.

There's no haha about it. There is no denying his quality on the ball and he is an exciting player, however that side of his game is what looks to be lacking and is ultimately probably why he's ended up at Burnley instead of Spurs, Man Utd or any of the other giants that he was linked with.

Not ideal but still undefeated, and Sheff Utd losing to both Oxford and Millwall in consecutive games. I know which club I would rather be

Derby should have points deducted for the state of that pitch. Hopefully we don’t have to play on one like that again this season.

Just watched the last 10 mins of Boro V Leeds......the pitch looked like a Bowling green.
Surely there should be a minimum standard with what's at stake?

Watched off the TV but the ref was absolutely shite. Played right into their hands. Foster going off is a massive blow. Especially when Flemming can't play against millwall

My thoughts precisely
Given Derby’s recent form I was fearful about tonight and we have actually gained a point over Sheffield
Anything can happen between now and May

Parker struggles against organised sides unfortunately.

Two nil nils against them cloggers and Preston in the same season is worrying.

I think most managers struggle against very organised sides. Credit to them, they defended well - easy in hindsight but the Fleming chance was really important, easy to criticise but I that needed a placed finish - not power. He had the time as well.

Onwards and upwards!

Nope.

Ducked out of challenges twice on the edge of the box which might have cost us. I like him as a player, but he has to produce ala Anthony.

The pitch was visually okay, it was flat and only parts were sandy.

I expect him to do what Anthony does week in week out. What the rest of the team do week in week out. Work harder than the other team.

I dislike Roberts but he works and works and works his socks off all night.

As annoyed (and entitled) that I am, looking back, our defence was phenomenal.

Still ahead of the Blades, and equal with Leeds. Everything to play for!

I.meant same kind of game. They were uo for it, worked hard and battled and the pitch.made it hard to be fluid consustenty. Like Deepdale.

I think it's a decent point in the end

Nope.

Ducked out of challenges twice on the edge of the box which might have cost us. I like him as a player, but he has to produce ala Anthony.
Nearly was, had another good moment in that half as well.

The pitch was also significantly worse in his quadrant in the first half.

There's no coincidence that since his introduction into the side, we've converted more 0-0s to wins, unfortunately we couldn't tonight. No need to over analyse it, just onto the next one.
