Slightly digressing: My ticket is in the lower tier, Z4 and is downloaded and safely in my wallet. Someone has now said this ticket is actually invalid and I should contact the club regarding it. Obviously it's wednesday and the ticket office is closed, so are they right about my ticket and should I be chasing this up tomorrow?

I think that you'll have either been reallocated to Z5 or 6 or to the Upper Tier but obviously you need to contact the TO to check. Whilst the TO is closed today, they should be answering the phone and emails.

Thanks Pete. I emailed the TO and although I wasn't expecting a reply as it's wednesday, they replied promptly tbf. I've now had my ticket reallocated, but surely there are others out there who may be totally unaware that their ticket isn't valid. I only found out by chance.

The club / TO are ringing those effected to let them know they have been moved and new tickets will be emailed.

Just received my call, and told new tickets will be with me in 10 mins. Tickets received as promised.

The cock up was noticed within 24 hrs of going on sale - sheer luck I assume that there were enough left to move everyone.

Had there not been room, the only fair way would have been to cancel all tickets and start the sale again.

The Club knew that they had to move some people well before it sold out, so it wasn't too much of an issue
