Very fair comments from Wilder - unfortunately despite being the third best team in the league doesn’t guarantee promotion and I think he has a difficult couple of difficult weeks coming up.

yeah, that week in August sounds absolutely mental tbh. I didn't think we'd get into the play offs because I didn't see how many manager could fix the mess in one season so huge credit to Parker. However, technically I was right - we didn't get into the play offs

I'd agree; given the situation I think he did very well. While my choice would be Bristol to come up through the play-offs, it's hard to argue that anyone other than Sheffield United have been the Championship's third best club this year - with Leeds as the clear second.
