Accy Clarets this season
Accy Clarets this season
This season we've travelled to every game, taken over 80 coaches/minibuses and transported nearly 4000 people. Whilst the coaches have mainly run trouble free, we have had one or two issues, with the main one being no-shows, who have taken the time to book on but couldn't then be bothered cancelling when they didn't then require the seats! We are now looking into taking upfront payment next season before confirming bookings. We will post the new booking arrangements once the fixtures come out.
Finally, a big big thank you to the people who without their help, we wouldn't be able to run the buses - Gracey, Cad, Simmo, Finny, Lloydy, Simon, Robin, Kirsti, Will, James and Ste.
See you next season - UTC

Re: Accy Clarets this season
A small band of volunteers who all do a sterling job , thank you.
Re: Accy Clarets this season
Travelled with Accy (coach from Nelson) for the first game of the season and then again yesterday for the last and would just like to add my thanks to you and all those helpers Leisure. Both great trips (helped by the results) and yesterday one of the lads (I think he was Finny) even kept sorting the toilet issue out on our bus (deserves a medal going into that hole).
Re: Accy Clarets this season
Have travelled with you a few times this season. Thanks to Leisure and all those who help run the buses. Do a great job and have to deal with some absolute numpties at times.

Only managed a couple of away days this year due to one thing or another, but both times have been excellent, due in no small part to yourself and your team doing a superb job.
Cheers to everyone involved, you are all greatly appreciated.

Re: Accy Clarets this season
When finances are so tight, with every seat needing to contribute, there is nothing more callous than a no show, no tell.
I assume they are never seen again. Otherwise, I would certainly say they had a debt to clear, before coming again. I would also inform the other clubs, so these folk can'tgo anywhere, until debt settled.
Your work is immense. I admire your dedication, service to Clarets and hard work. Thank you.

I'd like to echo the thoughts above and say a massive thank you to everyone involved in getting us to and from matches up and down the country. Looking forward to travelling with Accy Clarets again next season !

Just a quick reply to say what a fantastic service Accy Clarets provide. Travelled with them on numerous occasions over the past few seasons. It's always well organised and a always a stop in some picturesque towns for a few beverages pre match. In the light of some people doing no shows, an upfront payment to secure your seat is understandable. UTC

Re: Accy Clarets this season
Peter you provide a great service for Accy Clarets and as people say its not just getting us to a game its different towns we get to see that possibly we would not see.
I for one have no problem in paying at the time of booking. Are there any problems in putting the claret number that most people have on as a ref when booking and or paying.?
Thanks again for what you do.

Re: Accy Clarets this season
Those Supporters Clubs who run coaches do a magnificent job and without them there are a lot of Burnley fans who would struggle to get to games.
It's a tough job to do as well organising them so all from Leisure and his team at Accy Clarets, to the other groups, deserve a huge vote of thanks.

Finny is one of the best blokes you'll ever meet, I've loads of time for him.KlyBfc wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 10:53 amTravelled with Accy (coach from Nelson) for the first game of the season and then again yesterday for the last and would just like to add my thanks to you and all those helpers Leisure. Haven't travelled with Accy this season but my family have been to most games on Gracey and Cads bus, they love it, even mentioned it was a brand new bus for QPR

Re: Accy Clarets this season
Ours definitely wasn’t three years old, in fact it probably was closer to 33 and even needed a few rest (reset) brakes on the way home.
Someone did pass a comment about how the other coaches looked new
