Season tickets
Season tickets
I hate the club website. But I’ve noticed my direct debit for next seasons season ticket is coming out tomorrow for only a tenner. That can’t be right for 2 tickets, can it?

Re: Season tickets
Bearing in mind they club were ringing fans last week to take their direct debit details from them over the phone even though they were existing season ticket holders who were already paying by direct debit who knows what could happen tomorrow.
I’m fully expecting 2 direct debits to be taken tomorrow…..or none….or one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Re: Season tickets
I didn't and still haven't. I queried it and was told that more were being sent out on Friday and was told to email on Monday if I hadn't received anything over the weekend. I'm still awaiting a reply and there's nothing pending in my bank....
Re: Season tickets
Just checked mine as we have 2 season tickets £11.83 coming out tomorrow saying first payment? Been a massive cock up here it seems.

I didn’t, no.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 3:08 pmDid you get emails last week with your direct debit details?
Re: Season tickets
Just spoken to TO. Despite them having all my bank details, they don’t know why it’s only been set up to take my lads payment. I’ve to give them a couple of weeks and if it’s not sorted, ring them back. What a palava.

Re: Season tickets
Ive had a season ticket for maybe the last 20years solid but this season I have moved to pay by direct debit.
Apart from an email when I signed up I’ve had nothing yet.

Re: Season tickets
a lot of direct debits dont appear on bank accounts until the first payment has been taken (if its a new DD) but then shows after that until the payments are completed.
Re: Season tickets
It's an extension of the cashless society thread. The ticket office are refusing to let you pay by cash, card, barter, gold bars, or any currency at all!

Most things improve over time, it’s the nature of things.
The exception to the rule is BFC ticket office. It is now, and pretty much always has been, an absolute cluster.
We’ve had people in there at various times over the last 40 years or so that worked hard and were very helpful, but their efforts were always directed to solving problems caused by ineptitude and inefficiency as opposed to managing the place effectively.
Every time there seems to be a little light at the end of this very long tunnel, it turns out to be some lunatic with a torch bringing more grief and strife.

Re: Season tickets
My dd at the start of the month said it was the final payment. It has done every year, and the new payment (which is the same amount) will come out either on the 1st or 2nd as usual. I spoke to the ticket office last Friday about my son and grandchildren's tickets and they didn't query any bank details but just told me how much would be taken on Thursday or Friday. This will be their 1st renewal.
When I asked about maybe swapping my son's seat I was told that no swaps are being offered in the CFS until the club find out the PL requirements for safe standing. They are looking to extend the layout but no one yet knows which areas will be changed.

I saw the new DD’s for the 4 tickets I pay for set up. Just seeing if they get taken. If not then a trip to the ticket office. I imagine it’ll all work out ok though.

And no DD taken despite the TO confirming that it would be..... I'm just happy that they aren't trying to organise a trip around a local brewery!!
Re: Season tickets
Only £10.41 has come out this morning. I really hope this doesn’t mean that those tickets that they haven’t taken the money for go back on general sale.

Re: Season tickets
Mine has gone out as normal for me and the lad. I am also a season ticket holder at Sale and this issue happened with me last season at Sale who also use ticket master so was not confident at all it would be taken. It’s evident that ticket master are not very good at setting up direct debits.

I’ve had two payments taken today for our two tickets so it looks like at least mine aren’t a problem this time

Re: Season tickets
Mine has gone out correctly this morning but it is just unacceptable if they are taking the wrong amounts.
My mandate too says they will only be taking the money out for 11 months so it will be a month short when it comes to an end.

They have taken £10.00 out for my son’s today but not taken the £38.00 for mine. I’ve spoken to the ticket office - got through very quickly - who advised that they’ll retry in 5 working days. I queried with the person I spoke to about this as there is money in the account. Sounds like there is a new system in place causing issue.

Re: Season tickets
A new system? So we've switched from one that works to one that doesn't. It all worked perfectly when it was done in house.ManchesterClaret wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 10:07 amThey have taken £10.00 out for my son’s today but not taken the £38.00 for mine. Re: Season tickets
I changed bank accounts 3 months ago. Last 2 payments were taken from the correct new account
Today they have taken the correct amount from the old account
Lucky I'd kept some cash in
Just to add, didn't have any comms from Club re mandate

Re: Season tickets
I had an email on Tuesday saying "Don't miss your chance to witness Premier League football starting at less than £20 per home fixture. There are a limited amount of 2025/26 Season Tickets available for purchase."
Which made me wonder if my renewals had been done. DD went out today correctly though.

Re: Season tickets
I check my direct debit today after no email about it and I been charged kid price for mine and my nephew and niece who under 18 that I sort out has not been took out. Went to ticket office as thought was open 5 to 7 on Thurs and seen it shut now only opens 10 to 2.
Re: Season tickets
My payment went out today £30 as stated no problems
Re: Season tickets
My payments came out for right amount, though two of them came out of an old bank account that was changed ages ago. I had even been onto the ticket office and they assured me that it would be taken from the new account. Oh well, will see what happens next month
Re: Season tickets
I had received comms from club regarding my wife’s ticket and it had her old account in even though it had been changed with the club around October last year. Went in to the club shop to change it over straight away. Direct debits still came out of her old account though even though they said it had been changed over
