2-0 Rangers.
Desperately disappointing. We didn't play badly. Just seemed a bit light up front.

Now off to watch the Chester game. Crap memories of the Deva. Was there when they beat Burnley 3-0. We were awful that day.
Might have been the first league game in their new stadium.

Was it Marlon Beresford's first game?

It's 3 quid off QPR SITE.
Did look for a stream but couldn't find one
It was on the Streamed.su site, that's where I found it.

Good performance against a forward line of 3 first teamers.

Casper made 3 or 4 good saves.

Soft, but a pen. Absolutely no need for it either. Was going nowhere. We don’t deserve that. Controlled the game and the ball this half.
We were doing well I thought up to the pen but never really seemed to recover from it.

Don't recall now, Silky. I do remember us being particularly poor & lucky to only ship 3!

Spot on (pardon the pun). We had the better of the second half until then. I thought we shut down their long balls very effectively after half time.

Some good touches pre penalty and I thought there were similarities with the Chelsea game unfortunately not the same outcome.

Remember this game well. To make it an even better day my dad’s car broke down on the motorway on way back!

Marlon made 44 league appearances in the 92/93 season, That Chester away game was our 4th match of the season, so by my maths, his first match for us would probably have been the previous game at home to Rotherham

States on the 92/93 season Wikipedia page That Marlon signed the day before the Rotherham home game.

He made his debut against Rotherham - 29th August 1992

I didn't know for certain, but it didn't take much to figure out that he didn't make his debut v Chester.
