Natasha Bedingfield
I reckon Paul Fletcher will be on the blower to Alan trying to flog him a StadiArena after witnessing that.

Went down about as well as a fart in a spacesuit. Was a bit embarrassed for the lass to be honest.

Just because the players clearly have terrible taste in music doesn't mean it should be inflicted on the rest of us

Totally 100% agree. Some are disrespectful due to not being champions but the team and staff gave their all. 100 points is a massive achievementburnley007 wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 4:15 pmThat was a reward for the players more than the fans and they absolutely deserved it.

Didn’t quite have the same impact on the pitch.
And there was a flatness overall for the promotion celebrations from the stands.
Think the last minute goal for Leeds was a bit of a killer in that respect. Feel like we were two minutes from almost winning promotion twice.
But on reflection we have to be buzzing. 100 points. The togetherness of the team. Parker has done an incredible job.

The players have had this song in the dressing room as a soundtrack to the season ... I am no fan of Natasha Bedingfield but like others say fair play to the club and organising it. I enjoyed it before I left.burnley007 wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 4:15 pmThat was a reward for the players more than the fans and they absolutely deserved it.

I thought it was pretty well received in the main - fair play to her, she's used to playing in front of a full house that knows who she is and what she sings, out of her comfort zone I'd imagone, I thought she did well.

Great stuff, that.
Re: Natasha Bedingfield
Entertaining, funny and apt.
Great move from the club to even consider making that happen, even if it’s doesn’t satisfy the small margin of fans that will criticise every effort they make.

Re: Natasha Bedingfield
Fantastic that the club organised that for the players, especially as the day was at risk of falling flat. Not my kind of music but anyone having an issue with it really needs to take a long hard look at themselves.
It was great to her joining in with the lads in the dressing room… if she wasn’t a Claret, I bet she is now

Agreed, but what did you expect? Why was he paraded? What has he done? Incredible if he got a medal. Give one to Amdouni as well. At least he tried the few games he was still here.
Re: Natasha Bedingfield
Thought she was excellent and everybody around me enjoyed it. I was told earlier today she would be performing- and her fee was certainly an eye opener.

He didn’t get a medal. Shouldn’t have been brought out like that anyways. Should have probably come out with backroom staff and coaches. Still was embarrassing to boo our own player like that.

We don't even know the truth yet, the bloke could have had a serious illness followed by injuries/mental health issues.
He's obviously part of the squad and liked by the players which suggests he hasn't downed tools at all.
To boo a player when we are celebrating promotion is utterly embarrassing

Spot on. We’ve got no idea what’s been going on.
Just imagine for a minute he’s had mental or genuine physical health issues and then gets singled out for being booed during what should have been a celebration.
I don’t believe for a minute that he’s been refusing to play or anything remotely close to that. If he had, there’s absolutely no way Parker and the squad that we’ve lauded all season for their togetherness would allow him to be anywhere near the squad, let alone come out for an ovation today.

Re: Natasha Bedingfield
She was harmless enough and gave it her best shot in a somewhat underwhelmed and distracted crowd ( I’d say about 1/3 had left ?) like some have said was more for the players I’d imagine .

Re: Natasha Bedingfield
I have heard of Natasha Bedingfueld but I didn't know the songs she sang so was unable to sing along, although the players obviously knew the song and did sing along which was good. Full credit to her for giving it her best and she deserved more than the polite applause she got. Might have been better received if there had been some advance publicity butvI didn't see anything.
