Hopefully we may have some more poignant discussion. Totally understand this will drop off the front page but as and when we are linked I and hope others will update.

Tenuous paper talk, but we are mentioned as one of the suitors for the signing of Omari Hutchinson.
I'm sure we are interested, but definitely not at that price, sadly Leeds will probably pay it.

Zeki should be returned as to sell a proven international goal scorer in a cut price deal would be foolish in the extreme. No one reduced the price for our loanees

9 goals and 3 assists from what totals 15 games on the pitch but that mainly broken down into sub appearances is impressive. Nothing less than the €18m they were quoted.Guller Bull wrote: ↑Mon May 05, 2025 7:26 pmAmdouni - position

Had him loan all season, everyone knew the price was €18 mill, and now they are telling us to soften our stance?
I'd tell them to forget it. Ask Scott if he wants to use him here if not look to sell else where highlighting his Goals / assist per min etc.
It's like dealing with the Turkish Clubs again over Weghorst.

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Amdouni's goals per minutes are good.
One problem we have, is that we expect a lot from our expensive or higher earning players, and are less forgiving. With Amdouni, he received a lot of grief when he lost, or gave away possession cheaply. Completely understandable but that is the sort of player he is. Tricks and flicks are part of his game, so expect moves to break down at his feet, but if we give him the confidence to keep trying, there will be games, or moments in games where he becomes a game changer, a match winner.
Hopefully Parker can instill the self discipline to only do the showboating in the opponents half.
Let Parker be the judge!!!

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Zeki doesn’t have the wheels for what is going to be a tough PL campaign. He’s a luxury player that looks good in a top half side whereby they can accept his deficiencies. Look at the work we get out of Hannibal, Laurent & Flemming, he hasn’t got that.
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Agreed, there can’t be any passengers, and Amdouni, for all his qualities, was definitely one of them.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 12:33 amZeki doesn’t have the wheels for what is going to be a tough PL campaign. First and foremost, you earn the right to play, and Amdouni doesn’t appreciate that. I think most of us have blocked the majority of last season from our mind now, but the amount of times Amdouni got caught trying to play out in dangerous areas was moronic.
I agree we should stand firm but we also need rid.

Haven’t quite made it for there parent club but has been relatively successful out on loan.
He’s had a fairly decent season this year. But I do totally understand the trepidation

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Fabio Silva is having a decent season and is still only 22 years old. Not sure that the link has much substance but if we could cut a deal to suit us and his attitude fits our group then I’d take him. It’s this type of player who, if they perform well for one season at this age could command a huge fee in the future. From what I can remember of him he’s a bit of a pest for defenders too.
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
I'd have Silva over Foster and Barnes, that's the only relevant point here in my opinion.

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
His reported 90k a week would be an issue mind you.
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Silva is still maturing as a player. He looks to have devolped his all round game a bit more and looks bigger than I remember but maybe just more imposing. Would be a bit of a coup for us and at 22 and a decent season or two for us could make a decent profit.
He's a player who needs a home and needs a bit of a love in. He admitted he never wanted to go to wolves which would be my only concern. Why would he want to come here?

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
He was a kid at Wolves signed for a lot of money, I thought he was decent at Rangers? Anyway he’s had a good season in La Liga and works his arse off. Good age to improve further too.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 4:54 pmHe was crap at FC Portugal of Wolverhampton, crap at Rangers. It's a no for me

Reported that he didn’t want to go to Wolves and was pretty much forced at a young age. Looking to be maturing on the field, and I’d imagine off the field too .

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
I'm not sure about Silva. He was rated as one of the best wonder kids in the world when he was younger, he's still only 22 so there is definitely still potential there.
That being said there is a reason Wolves are trying to offload him for a lot less than they paid- he's been out and about at a few different clubs and not done much, he's had a decent time in La Liga but nothing that suggests he's worth 20m+.
In some ways I could see it being a signing that fits what ALK may look for- Played at a good level, unrealised potential, and what may be a big one- it's possible Wolves would be open to a loan to buy given he's spent so much time away anyway.
He'd be an exciting signing in some ways, but I'm not sure he fits what I think we need personally.

Sounds like good news on Traff. Seems like he is aware he is on a good thing and only wants to go if it is a major move as No. 1.
Feels like a new contract likely and pay rise with a release clause for about £35m I bet. We may well try to back him in a corner to sign before Newcastle get organised.

Trafford-Pope + cash swap might be tempting. Pope isn’t the keeper he was but more than adequate for our needs. Trafford will be going to a top club soon whatever we want.
I have read the rumours that Pope is going to DL but that is all they are.
A swap would also offset some of the percentage City are due.

Can we really afford to have the hottest goalkeeping prospect in world football when the rest of the squad is one of the weakest in the league we will be in?

More troublesome for me is the fact he ditched us as soon as we were relegated. We signed him from Charlton and gave him the chance of Premier League football. In my book that earns you at least one season of loyalty.
