He was playing so well at the start of that season too but that’s the one we all remember.

I’m not convinced we’d have gone up the season after if he’d been one of the first choice players.

Glad Juke found a place that was right for him. Always gets a good acknowledgment from the Claret fans who appreciate the work he put in whilst here. Pity it didn’t work out for him Turf Moor.

Yes his Burnley Career didn't hit heights apart from that pre season ... but he certainly fitted in at Brum City ...

He was one of those Burnley players that I was absolutely rooting for, especially with the way he started in preseason and then the first handful of Premier League games. In the end it wasn't his level but he's had a good career nonetheless.

Dyche got an awful lot right at Burnley but that was one of the biggest mistakes.

Played alright for a couple of games but then watching him trying to wrestle top class centre backs became an embarrassment.

Played well for the first five games, although he should have scored at Swansea. Then he came up against Craig Dawson at West Brom. Only got four more starts after that.

Denied two obvious penalties at the start of the 2015-16 season, away at Leeds then at home to Birmingham. I’m not saying he would have taken them, but just another way to show that his luck was out in his time with us.

I still maintain that had that header gone in at Swansea it would have been a completely different story. He had everything you want from a big number 9 apart from hitting the net.

I watched that game on TV with a bunch of Derby supporting friends... Definitely one of life's better memories

I met Juke a number of times. The time I remember clearly was just after our 2-0 home win after Liverpool.
Was chatting about the game, and he was bigging up Ben Mee! “What a player he is” “what a nice man too”
Was his reply!
He may not of hit the goals for us, but a top guy!
