Loved Kompanys first season, hated his second season.

Wasn’t excited by Parker’s appointment but am very happy to be won over now.

I think with his style of play we are in a much better position now to stay up next season than we were under Vinny.

Love Dyche but the time was right for him to go and for us to change.

Still dislike Owen Coyle but every year that goes by the more I appreciate the 2008/09 season.

I think Cotterill gets more stick than he deserves.

Dane Richards deserved less than the 66minutes allowed to him at Burnley

Without Owen Coyle we would still be waiting to see Burnley play in the Premier League.

Eddie Howe is the best manager we've had in the last 30 years and did a fantastic rebuilding job from old squad full of has beens that would have got us relegated to League one into a young hungry squad that with a few tweaks would take us to the PL.
Results didn't reflect what a top manager he is.

Dyche did a tremendous job results wise but isn't as good a manager as Eddie Howe

I thought Eddie Howe's results with us illustrated perfectly his ability as a manager. Flattering result one week followed by outstanding mediocracy the next. 'Treading water' is a phrase that springs to mind.

- 17/18 Burnley was the best that I've ever witnessed. I never thought we'd reach that level, having started watching in the 90s.

- Dyche needs to reinvent himself and really get that hunger back if he wants to succeed somewhere again and not just 'be a fire fighter' - talking new backroom staff and some fresh ideas.

- I dislike City and Chelsea more than I dislike Rovers.

- VK went from hero to zero, but I wish him the best and think the move was good for all parties.

- Still hate the level of risk that our board play with, but have warmed to them and think that they have the overall right idea; certainly entertaining their new/novel ideas rather than instantly dismissing them.

- I can sometimes can be a cock, but can't we all?

- Chris Wood could score 30 goals in a year for City but Haaland couldn't score 20 playing for Forest (controversial I know)

- If the Nation/Footballing world wasn't obsessed with playing out from the back, Nick Pope would've had 50+ apps for England.

- Tarkowski is a better player and always has been a better player than Harry Maguire.

- If Jack Cork had a bit of pace, he'd have spent his career playing for teams in the top 6/8.

Gaps too big to expect anything next year. I'd pocket the prize money and go in with a young squad with the aim to be promoted back in 26-27 and give it a good go in 27-28 instead. Staying in the Premier League has to be a long project with the same manager. It's too risky spending too much and failing anyway.

Parker will nick us some wins Dyche style but we're going to be so terrible up top in the Premier League it will be awful to watch. Expect nothing though and keep happy when it happens. It's unrealistic for any team to survive easily.

Some players may do better. Koleosho is going to have more space to run into and does good work tracking back.

Our weak link in defence will be our full backs and teams will target that. Going to be next to impossible when most star players play on the wing. Salah vs Perez anyone?

Think of it all like a movie; Dyche is Bob Hoskins in The Long Good Friday. He knows what he wants to do, he knows that what he wants to do will pay off big time, he just hasn’t got the manpower to get there. So he makes his team appear bigger and harder than everyone else: ‘Frostbite or verbals’

Kompany is that bad guy in Raiders of the Lost Ark, the one that squares up to Indy and whips his sword around like a big man because it’s always worked before. Problem is, he brought a knife to a gun fight.

Scott Parker……he’s basically Hugh Grant in Notting Hill. Nice, says the right things and eventually gets the girl after almost cocking it up.

I think what I’m trying to say is…..we (secretly) will be much happier watching Notting Hill with the Mrs because we know we will laugh and feel a bit soft. We all laugh at Indy shooting the show-off and admire Bob Hoskins shouting in his gruff voice but at the end of the day (football cliche), you wish you were the floppy haired fopp who gets the (Hollywood superstar) girl.

Born in Burnley 63 years ago but family moved to Kent in 1968. Supporting Burnley is an investment in the town, the club, the county and is like being on the biggest rollercoaster in the world. Sean Dyche gave us all memories and hopes that I never believed were possible (as did Owen Coyle). Best team I saw was probably with Trevor Steven being guided by Dobbo with Overson and Phelan in that team too. Although I don’t see many live games I am always aware of games being played. Kompany gave us a great season followed by a poor one and Scott Parker did an incredible job this season. Who knows what the future will bring ? The club is bigger than any individual and I have the utmost admiration for the loyal supporters who follow The Clarets everywhere - most of my matches were seen at Gillingham (25 mile drive from Herne Bay), Orient, Wimbledon, Brentford, Barnet, Southend and most were pretty miserable places and matches but it was still watching the team I will always love.

I thought it was the Broomfield area. I lived in Greenhill until I moved to Ramsgate, then Broadstairs before moving to Rochdale nearly ten years ago, when I retired.

History suggests your wrong and that season was an outlier in his career. The likelihood is he'd have gradually improved us through that season and then kicked on the year after.
