Lancs League derby day

Post by Somethingfishy » Sun May 25, 2025 12:43 pm

So here we are sports fans...
Burnley win the toss and put House into bat. Sensible decision on a day like this.
46 over game and a delayed start

231/5 House finish on. Scoreboard saying 233 but we think a six has been given for the last ball when it landed just short.

can you tell me why Burnley get the full 50 overs to chase 232, when Lowerhouse only had 46 and posted 231, this D/L method makes no sense

It was rammed down there (literally only House fans).

When your wicketkeeper who can stand up to the the stumps for the likes of Joey Hawke has to be over a pitch length away from Walker then he must be a bit rapid.

He can also bat a bit.
