Champions league final

Post by CyrilEbokiPoh » Sat May 31, 2025 5:11 pm

Huge game tonight in Munich. Great to see a resurgence of Italian football. But Paris look a very good side. And I like their manager. But personally hoping for an Internazionale win. I imagine their defence and structure will be too good with pace and excellent finishers on the break. Inter Milan have looked very good in recent years. Especially in Europe.

Prediction PSG 0-2 Inter.

Been impressed with Inter's counter-attacking so could be similar to the Barca game.

I know PSG are one of those sportswashing oil nation clubs.. but they’re great to watch, in a way English clubs just aren’t any more. And it’s hard to not want Luis Enrique to have success. But then as said, something a bit nostalgic about an Italian club winning it.

Think I prefer there being no Prem sides in it.

Couldn’t agree more. The style of play in the premier league bores me to tears. I’m confident that Parker will be more akin to Dyche than Kompany though. Play to our strengths. Be resilient. Organised and aggressive.

Inter play a style of football that I prefer over the likes of city.

Detest everything PSG stand for. The Qatari state, which owns them, have wrecked French football by chucking huge sums at the club for the last 15 years.

But I have to admit this current team plays good football and are too fast for more or less everybody.

Inter have done well this season and I hope they give them a match.

All about opinions but I thought Dyche's football was dire for large parts of his tenure. Just can't abide the instinct to play it long first time every time.

Don't mind who wins, just want an exciting game. Two good teams, as you'd expect.

Acerbi's story is worth a read.

There’s no finer striker in the world than Lautaro Martinez when he’s ‘on’, IMO. But he’s not had his best season this year. Fingers crossed he’s on his game tonight.

FYI for those without TNT Sports you can watch free via the Discovery + app, you will need to create an account if you don’t already have one but it’s completely free.

I’d love inter to win this. Billions pumped into PSG, and they STILL can’t buy the champions league. Long may that continue….

Need to get a grip here do Inter, get in the game, it's an awful, lethargic start from them and now they're deservedly 2 down.

Not a true story. It’s a fictional novel based on some Burnley brothers during the time of the falklands war.

Agreed with everything you said here.

Hate the Qatari state, but bloody love watching PSV - especially Kvaratskhelia and Doué.

They are everything you'd want in a football team; skilful and play fast, dynamic football - superb.

It just shows how football is a team sport above everything else. PSG were nowhere near with Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe, but they look unstoppable with lesser names and 10x more work rate.

The most one-sided final I can recall for a long, long time.
