Not another Tresor thread...
I'm a big fan of Mikey, I think he could be a big player for us if he is recovered.
I've not heard or read of any rumours/stories about Tresor going anywhere yet. January was full of stories of him going to Turkey/Belguim etc.
I really hope this means we can keep him and he will possibly be fully fit for pre season. He is clearly a real talent.
Was he involved in the trip to Vegas?

Honestly, i'd love to see him play for us, but if we found someone willing to pay circa 10m i'd snap their hands off. Sadly there haven't been any airborne porcines around recently.

Was just about to ask the same question…
I don’t have an opinion either way, because I’ve seen next to nothing of him.

Perhaps extending the thread a little bit on a similar subject regarding a player who has had less playing time and less column inches than Mike Tresor, does anyone have any info on Shurandy Sambo? Since August at Sunderland I don't think he has had a look in at any level. Seems you're more likely to find Lord Lucan at Gawthorpe than him.

I’d keep him and Zeki, assuming fitness and attitude they are better than what we have.

There's usually a reason why someone is a fan of a certain player though.
For example, that player has done something of significance whilst he's been here.
The only discussions we've ever had about Tresor is why he's not playing.
Is that what makes someone a fan now?!

Yet he berates a manager who gained us 100 points and beat the 23 undefeated Sean Dyche season

My opinion is that we won’t see him again, although I’d like to, I think it’s highly unlikely .

Frankly I haven’t seen enough of him, to make a judgement.
However if he does stay, I would like there to be an absence of hostility towards him.

He likes him more than he likes Scott Parker, for example.

Some fans will (or should) feel very silly at best if / when the stories come out. (May never do a la Van Der Schaf). That said the club havent helped the situation, Mikey or themselves at all.

This is the issue really, in the absence of anything remotely factual either from Mike/his agent or the club then conjecture & speculation will be rife, that’s just natural.
Then add in that all the club said was “illness” but then he played a cup game and was never seen again, and Alan’s faux pas saying he is available and you can really blame people for speculating. He’s also a circa £15m asset (or will be on the balance sheet) so private medical info aside, it’s sort of in the fans interest to know what’s going on.

So, private medical info aside, what do you think is in the "fans" interest to know?
